Jeremy, and the rest of the squad were talking about a new student at their school. His name was Eric W. Squip, and apparently, half of the girls were swooning over him.
"Dude, dude! He's so dreamy!" Chole exclaimed. "And chill!" Brooke added. Jeremy nodded, pretending to be listening. In reality, Jeremy didn't really care. He'd never actually met Eric, and didn't want to judge him until he actually knew him. If he ever got to know him.

Jeremy was walking from his study hall to his algebra class on the other side of the school. It wasn't really a problem though. He got lost the on the way there on the first day of school, but he'd gotten the hang of it since.
"Hey, how are you?" A random voice asked.
"Hm?" Jeremy hummed at the unfamiliar voice. He turned his head expecting to see Rich, or maybe even Jake. However he didn't see either of them. It was him. Eric W. Squip.
Eric was talking to him. Not just any Eric though, Eric W. Squip. The guy the girls are obsessed over. The chill guy. The popular guy. And the girls were right! He was dreamy!
"Oh! Hey, Eric!" Jeremy exclaimed, walking to his class. The bell rang, and they had to get started on their work. However, Eric's simple act of kindness didn't leave his mind for the rest of the day.
