I try to push him away but I couldn't, he was holding me too strong.

I looked back to Zach and noticed that he was getting held back by the other two men.

"Let her go Luke, hurt me but not her" Zach tries to say but the guys immediately throw a punch to his stomach as he speaks.

"Fine, we will leave you guys alone but listen Zach. I'm going to get you back for hurting them, so take this as a warning" Luke warns Zach.

Zach just looks at Luke and turns his glance towards me.

"Let him go" Luke orders the guys holding Zach and then Luke let's me go.

They all let out a laugh and ran back to their car which was parked underneath some trees in the dark.

Zach immediately runs to me and cups my cheeks.

"Are you okay? Look at me Bella" I look at him and nod.

I look at his face to scan for any hurt clues when I notice that his lips had a huge cut in the corner which was bleeding, a lot.

I slowly lifted my finger to his lips and lightly tapped on the blood.

He flinched.

He grabbed my arms and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay" he mumbles.

"Let's go back to my apartment, I'll help you clean your lip over there" I tell him and he nods as we pull away.

Silence fills the air all along the car ride and now through the elevators as we head towards my apartment.

I slowly unlock the door since the boys are probably still sleeping in the living room.

But no, they weren't.

Everything was nicely done.
The blankets were folded and nicely placed in the couch.

I ignored the fact that they weren't here, maybe they had gone back home after they noticed we weren't here.

"Here, come with me" I grabbed his hand and took him upstairs to the bathroom in my room since that's where the first aid kit was at.

I turned on the lights of the bathroom since it was around 4 in the morning and Zach sat in the counter.

I bent down to grab the first aid kit and then opened it to grab the alcohol.

When I stood back up, my eyes immediately met Zach's as I walked towards the counter where he was sitting on looking deeply into me.

I looked down and tried avoiding his glance.

I then opened the alcohol bottle and dipped some in a little cotton ball.

I leaned towards the counter and awkwardly looked at his lips and then I began to slowly tap the cotton into the corner of his lips.

But I could feel his eyes burning into my face.

Awkwardly, I continued doing it as he continued staring.
