"A plan?" Zach furrowed his eyebrows.

I was just as confused as he was.

"Yes, we need to get Luke back in order to help my brother out. I can't let him in there." Ben sighs.

"What's your plan?" I asked him.

Ben's eyes looked at me and then at Zach.

"I know you guys probably aren't going to want to do this but it's the only way we can solve all this." He says.

"What?"

"We need to pretend as if this didn't happen. Zach, you're still mad at Bella because you think she cheated on you. Now you Bella, you need to find a way to act as if you're starting to find interest in Luke–" Ben begins explaining but Zach cuts him off.

"No, dude. No way."

"It's not up for debate." Ben states, glaring at Zach, "Anyways, Bella you will act as if you're finding interest in Luke. Because, truly that's what Luke wanted all along. If he saw that things were going his way, I would try and get my brother since he can't do anything against me because I did everything he asked for. Bella, you will try to get the most information you can while you're undercover so then, we can use it against him."

He's so smart. Doing that, would actually help all of us on getting revenge and helping Ben get his brother.

My eyes move towards Zach to find him pinching his nose while shaking his head.

"No. We're not going to do that." Zach laughs as if it's a joke.

"Why not? I don't see the problem." Ben says.

"Are you kidding me? She will not get close to that asshole ever again."

"Zach, it's for the best."

"But–" I cut him off.

"Zach." I walked over to him and grabbed his hand, squeezing as a way of convincing him.

"Fine." He rolled his eyes.

With that, Ben explained further his plan. We each had different things to focus on when around Luke. This better work.

The next morning, just as we had planned it, we got to school in our own separate ways and acted as if each other didn't exist. The plan was to make Luke believe that we didn't care about one another.

When I got to first period, I sat down in my seat. I had only Luke in that class. Just like I had him in forth period where I also have Zach.

I took out our notes and began writing more as the teacher continued to talk about the boring elements of physics.

When the bell rang, I exited immediately. There was no reason to be in there more than necessary.

"Bella." I heard Luke call behind me.

I turned around to face him.

"Yes?"

"Want to hang out in lunch together, we still haven't quite finished the project and the due date is coming really close." He asked.

This was perfect. I mean, not really because I didn't want to hang out with him. Not after everything. But it was perfect for Ben's plan.

"Yeah, of course." I nodded.
