After a few hours, we had arrived.
I parked my car in the driveway and slowly turned off the car.

No one had arrived yet since the driveway was empty, and also Corbyn had texted me that Christina and him stopped by at a lake to go for a swim.

Meanwhile, the boys also said they weren't going to come any time soon because they also went hiking on some nearby mountains.

Meaning Bella and I were alone.

I looked towards Bella and there she was peacefully sleeping in the passengers  seat covered with one of my hoodies that I had place on top of her after I noticed the weather getting colder.

I opened my door and walked out before jogging to Bella's door and opening it.

I slowly put my hands under her warm body and lifted her off the seat and then closing that side door with my foot.

As I walked to the front door, I felt her body move, I leaned down and kissed her cheek.

I opened the door and then closed it with my foot and headed upstairs.

The house was way different from the last time I was here. Last time, I felt the energy very low but now everything seems different.

I quietly carried her upstairs and walked through the hallway and into my room. Yes, I had a room for my self which was actually the masters bedroom.

My parents gave me this beach house as a 14th birthday gift almost 4 years ago.

Since then, the boys and I always come here to celebrate New Years or just throw parties in general.

It's my get away place.

Anyways, I walked towards my bed once we had entered my room and I carefully laid her on my bed.

I then walked to the closet and pulled a blanket out which I threw on top of her.

I sat on the little couch next to balcony door and turned my full attention at Bella's cute face when I suddenly got interrupted by my phone ringing.

The ID caller read; noddles jack 🤦🏻‍♀️
I swiped to answer the call.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Zach? Y'all got there already?" Jack said talking about the beach house.

"Yeah, why?"

"What about Corbyn and Christina? Have they gotten there?" He asked.

"No. They called and said they stopped by a lake on the way here."

"So Bella and you are alone?" I could definitely hear the smirk in his voice as those words left his mouth.

"Yeah, but she is sleeping"
