LANCE

I stared after Keith for a long while.

"He seemed jumpy." I muttered.

"Well Lance he's surrounded by people he doesn't know and from what it sounds like he hasn't been to Earth since he was born. He probably has no idea what humans are like." Shiro explained.

"Hold on, wait what?!" I gasped. My hands flew over my mouth in surprise.

"Keith was raised by the blade. He only knows, well to be Galra." Shiro spoke a little softer.

"Explains his social issues, but seriously? You don't think he knows Anything about Earth?" I crossed my arms and scoffed.

Shiro sighed.

"Ask him yourself." He smirked before he turned and headed into the dining hall.

I glanced over my shoulder to see what Shiro had meant only to find Keith walking silently toward me.

I felt my heart skip a beat at the sight. His black t-shirt clung to him like a second skin, and his dark jeans hugged his round bottom perfectly.

Hold on, hold on, what the hell am I thinking?

"Hey." I smirked at his approach.

"Hi." He inclined his chin in greeting.

"So Shiro tells me that you haven't been to Earth since you were a baby?" I quirked a brow.

Keith's face paled. Which was a feat for him considering he was already pale and probably had never seen sunlight.

It actually made me kind of sad.

Maybe I shouldn't have said it like that.

"No I haven't. " He spoke tightly and brushed past me.

Definitely shouldn't have said it like that.

"Sheesh someone's a little sensitive." I muttered.

"Who's sensitive?" Pidge asked appearing almost out of thin air.

I jumped at the sound of her voice before crossing my arms over my chest.

"Keith." I grumbled getting worked up.

I was just trying to start a conversation. He looked upset, and I just wanted to make him feel better.

"Why what happened?" Pidge asked leering at me with an accusatory look.

"Hey, I didn't do it!" I snapped on the defensive.

"Suure." Pidge nodded snickering as she headed into the dining hall. I sighed heavily and followed her.

Everyone was already seated. The only open seat was *gulp* next to Keith.

I took the seat and sat down quietly. Keith stiffened beside me.

Recalling what Shiro had said I tried to think of a way to show Keith I didn't mean to insult him.

It took the entire awkward dinner to think of it, but once everyone was finished I cornered Keith in the hall.

"What do you want Lance?" He spoke irritably and suspiciously.

"Come with me. I wana show you something." I pleaded with my infamous puppy eyes.

Keith like the rest of the universe was no exception to the power of those baby blues, and groaned.

"Ugh, fine." He muttered.

I led him to my room. He stepped inside with a deep intake of breath.
