"No, you shouldn't"

"When my sister died, no one did anything to make Luke pay. He left the house that day as if nothing had happened. My parents let him go without any charges. The cops let him go. They didn't do anything" he yells.

"But–"

"You don't know what it is to have the guy who killed your sister to be wandering around you as if nothing wrong had been done that day"

"Zach–"

"If you're going to defend him, get out" he says, tears still in his eyes.

"I'm not defending him"

"Yes, you are. But I don't care. Everyone defends him and can't even see my pain. Just leave" his voice cracked.

As much as I want to stay and hug him all day until he stop crying, I know staying would make things worse.

He is angry at the moment and he needs to calm down, he needs space.

I sighed before nodding.

"I'll see you after school" I say, reaching over my seat to his and giving him a peck in the lips which he doesn't respond to.

Ouch.

I pull away awkwardly and reach to open the door, unlocking it, then getting out of the car.

As soon as I step out, I hear Zach's car turn on and drive away.

"Seems like everything went well" Ben sarcastically says.

"I'm not in the mood for your sarcastic comments Ben" I say before walking away, running to my first class, technology.

The whole class was boring, it consisted of the teacher talking about the websites and learning how to create them. Basically, unnecessary information.

When lunch came by, I tried looking for the boys and Christina and found them at the gym while they looked at the boys play basketball.

"Bella" Daniel yelled at soon as they saw me step in the gym.

They all stood up and ran their way to me, hugging me.

"We all missed you so much" Christina commented.

They then looked around.

"Where's Zach?" Jonah asked.

That's when Ben came in, which I didn't notice was behind me.

"He got suspended after getting in a fight with Luke" he said.

They all rolled their eyes at the mention of Luke and let out a sigh.

"Luke? He's back?" Jack asked.

Back?

"Yeah, apparently his suspension ended last week so today was his goat day back as well" Ben answered.

"When I saw Luke at the party, I didn't know he came to this school" I tell them.
