Alive (Pit x Reader x Dark Pit)

"Open wide..." You opened your mouth obediently. Palutena placed a popsicle stick on your tongue and flashed a bright light in your eyes. You were currently sitting on a medical examination table in Skyworld. That little stunt you pulled a couple of hours ago gave both Pit and Palutena a heart attack, so Palutena insisted on a medical examination. She took your temperature for the umpteenth time and you did a few jumping-jacks to reassure your stable condition. After the mini examination was complete, Plautena spoke aloud.

"Well Y/N, I have no idea what I'm doing. All I know is that you're not showing any sickly symptoms..." Palutena placed a hand on your forehead. "Do you remember anything in particular?"

"I remember Pit and Dark Pit fighting. After that...It all goes blank..." You lied. You clearly remembered the vision. Every vivid detail of that horrible experience was stuck in your now throbbing head. You didn't want Pit and Palutena to worry, so you tried your best to forget about it.

"How do you feel Y/N?" Palutena asked.

"Alright." You murmured.

"...Just take it easy okay?" Palutena said, taking of her swirly glasses and handing you a small red lollipop.

"Okay." You hopped off the table and placed the lollipop in your mouth. Pushing the door open, you left the examination room and slowly made your way to your room. You noticed Pit walking a bit farther down the hallway and briskly moved to catch up.

"Hey Pit!" You stated, waving at him as he turned around. Pit smiled and tackle hugged you, causing you to lose your balance for a split second. Luckily, Pit's arms were enough to keep you from falling over.

"Y/N!!!" Pit exclaimed. He moved you back so he could see your face. "How are you feeling?"

"M-Much better after Palutena's examination." You replied, forcing down a blush. "I even got a prize." You said, pointing to the lollipop in your mouth. Pit laughed at your silly antics and you smiled.

"Sooooo, where are you going?" Pit asked.

"I'm going to my room. Well...after I get something to eat. I'm starving." You explained.

"I am too! We can both go together!" Pit stated, his face suddenly lighting up.

"You don't have to do that Pit. But if you insist."

"I insist!"

"Well okay then!" You dashed down the hallway, where the kitchen was in closer proximity. Once you made it to the end of the hallway you slowed a bit and turned to Pit.

"Last one there is a flightless chicken!" You yelled out.

"Hey! No fair Y/N!!!" Pit yelled, dashing to catch up with you.

"Mmmm. This cake tastes amazing! Who made it?" You asked, putting another small piece of cinnamon cake in your mouth. Pit laughed and cut another big slice of cake for himself.

"Lady Palutena and I made it. She wanted to go out on a whim and add some ingredients outside the recipe, but I stopped her. The cake turned out great......since we followed the recipe. Maybe we could make a cake together Y/N!" Pit said, his blue eyes sparkling by just the thought. You stifled a laugh.

"Maybe. And glad you were there to help, Pit. Otherwise who knows how this cake would've turned out...." You murmured, recalling Palutena's inedible spaghetti. You slowly moved your fork across the last bit of cake on your plate, deep in thought. Pit noticed this and spoke up.

"You okay Y/N?" Pit asked. You shook your head slightly, forcing down some not-so-fond memories.

"I'm fine. How about yourself?" You asked.
