Spyro I: Elements Collide

This chapter has no story in it. This intermission is to clear up some confusion that some, especially HollowGuard, have had.

Story Recap:
Spyro, Cynder and Sparx were all reunited, but were quickly hit with a problem. Thanatos, the personification of death, has been opening mysterious rifts all over the island that Warfang was on. The dragons ended up being forced into it, transporting them to a new world: The Forgotten Realms. They have been through many, and along the way have met Ruby, Skystrike, Gear and Wave. They intend to return to Warfang and stop Thanatos from taking over the city.

About Spyro:
Spyro, after the events of Dawn of the Dragon (PS3 / XBOX 360 game), had returned to Warfang. Cynder went missing, and Spyro felt alone without her, even when Sparx was beside him the entire time. His only wish was for her to come back.

About Cynder:
Cynder had vanished into the Outlands, a far and barren landscape. She attempted to make her way back to Warfang. Cynder also practiced her elemental abilities while she was alone. On the way, she encountered a lone black dragon wandering the land. She went over to help him, and asked him what was wrong. She didn't remember anything past that.

About Ruby:
(This is where most confusion came from)
Ruby is a Psychic dragoness, raised by Luminos and Star, the King and Queen of the Psychic Realm. The realm was attacked by Thanatos and his army. The Queen decided to send Ruby to the Dragon Realm using her spell book. Ruby's parents unfortunately died in the raid, and Ruby was raised by Terrador, and taught her the art of Earth. She is now considered an Earth dragoness, despite originating from the Psychic Realm.

About Wave:
Wave is a Water dragoness, who's parents were captured. She was lonely and sad for weeks, until Spyro and the others arrived. She had heard stories of Spyro before, which is why she felt comfortable around him. And yes, Wave 'likes' Spyro.

About Skystrike / Gear:
Skystrike is the Prince of the Wind Realm, and his closest friend was Gear. They did everything together, including battling to test their strength. These fights mostly turned out fine, but one of them ended with Gear's neck and the inside of his throat slit open. Skystrike installed a lung stabiliser and armour to keep him alive. The lung stabiliser also changed his voice, which is why he sounds robotic. Even after the incident, they still kept their friendship.

About Nyx / Erebus:
Nyx and Erebus are the sinister children of Thanatos, the main villian. They crave blood and destruction, but Nyx, despite her name meaning the 'Goddess of Darkness,' there is a fraction of light and remorse in her heart, but she buries it deep down. They vow to kill Spyro, Cynder and everyone who defies them.

About Thanatos:
Thanatos is the son of Malefor, the Dark Master. He too seeks out destruction, and seeks revenge for the death of his father. He sent Spyro and Cynder through the rifts to keep them away from the city, so he could plot an attack.

Ruby's knowledge of Necromancy:
Ruby, being a Psychic dragoness, has the ability to cast hundreds of light and dark spells, ranging from summoning an object to shape shifting and changing reality. She was also born with the knowledge of reading and speaking Greek, which is what the book was written in, with English translations. This is why she was able to bring Gear back to life.

I hope this clears up some issues with the characters and story. I'll try to explain things better in the near future!
