{flashback}

"So how's the relationship with Zach, I heard that he was out of town?" I asked her as we concluded our homework night.

"Yeah." She simply answered.

"Yeah? So it's not going well huh?" I said. What? Don't blame me, I needed to give her a little push so she could tell me how things are going.

"Well, I haven't really talked to him. Actually, I haven't talked to him at all." She says.

"Why? You're scared that he knows that we're working together on this project huh?"

"N-No. I just need to focus on school more. I've been kinda playing around and haven't actually focused on school."

"Is he calling 24/7 to check on you?"

"No."

"He did warned you to not be around me though?"

At first she hesitated to answer my question but then she nodded, "Yeah, he just wants me to not be around people he doesn't get along with."

I knew it.

"Is that why you always avoided talking with me?" I asked her, purposely making my voice crack and make it more believable.

Her eyes quickly met mine and they softened, "Yeah, kinda."

"So he gets to decide who you talk to?"

"No! Well, he did before but now I don't know anymore."

My heart skipped a beat.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"Well, he did tell me that you were evil and stuff but you're just as broken and hurt as he is."

As those words left her mouth, I wanted to smirk so bad. I had accomplished one of my many goals. But, I had to contain myself. You'll celebrate later. I reminded myself.

"You do know he's obsessed with you right?" I mentioned.

"Obsessed?" She laughed, "No. Luke, he's my boyfriend. Of course, he will be protective."

"Well I think he's quite obsessed. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if he was. He was obsessed with my sister and ordered her around just like he does with you–" she cut me off.

"He doesn't order me around."

"Oh really? So you don't think ordering around is choosing who you talk with nor get to hang out with?"

"W-Well, maybe."

"Exactly, Bella. He's controlling you by not allowing you to be friends with certain people. You need to put a stop to this. I'm saying this as a friend and as someone who has experienced how far Zach's obsessions get. Because of Zach's orders, my sister never found the opportunity to seek help. He never allowed her to talk with me. With me Bella, he own brother. That's when she knew couldn't handle it by herself." I explained.
