Her face quickly turned serious just like her breathing pace increased.

Was she scared? I mean, there wouldn't be anything wrong with that. If anything, it would help.

"Just don't let him think he has power over your life, Bella" I said, standing up and giving her a hug where she was frozen in her seat.

My words had actually gotten to her.

I turn off my phone with a smirk in my face as and make my way towards my car. I drove to school in less than 20 minutes.

Do people have staring problems?

I can't ever enter school and be my normal self without having people whispering around and staring.

Ugh.

"Bella. I was looking for you." I hear someone say which made me turn around, the voice was coming from Daniel.

Looking for me?

"Why? Is everything okay?" I asked him worriedly.

"That's what I want to know." He says firmly, while raising an eyebrow to me. 

What was he talking about?

"What?" I asked confused.

"Zach. He called the boys and I yesterday worried that you haven't been answering his calls since he left."

Oh that.

For that, there is a reason.

I've been so busy finishing my English project with Luke. This project is 70% of our final grade and I know how much this will affect us both if we don't dedicate ourselves to this.

Luke has mentioned the importance of this project to him and his grades for about at least a million times. I can't be lacking off for at least a single second.

And usually when I'm free, Zach's sleeping. The time zones are way off. Or when he's free, I'm at school, sleeping or in this case, working on the project.

Although I hate to admit it, Luke's words from last week have been affecting me. He possibly can't be saying the truth. Right?

He's lying. He has to be. There is no way that Zach was obsessed with his sister and that he prohibited her from seeing everyone.

That's just not him. Zach's not obsessed with me. He's just protective and cares. At least that what I've tried to convince myself. I felt so guilty that Luke's words actually stuck in my head.

"Bella?" Daniel waved his hand in front of my face, interrupting my thoughts.

I shaked my head and turned my attention back to Daniel, who was squinting his eyes as if he was trying to see what was going on.

"I-I'm busy working on the project for English."

"All the time?"
