The Bite: Derek Hale x reader (One Shots)

"Sorry der! I'll have to call you back!" I shouted through the phone as I ran after a spry little three year old girl.
She screeched and giggled as her little feet flopped along.
"What was that?" Derek asked concerned through the phone.
"Oh... uh... I'm babysitting right now."
"Babysitting?" He asked as I could here his smirk through the phone.
"Yeah. My aunt had to go to a meeting so she left me with her child." I rolled my eyes as she stopped running and fell onto the floor in a fit of giggles.
"Well i guess I'll just call you later then." Derek compromised.
"Okay." I sighed.
"Have fun with your baby. I love you."
"I love you too handsome, and I will. Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up the phone and sighed at the mess that was on the floor.
T/n was messing around and started to get quiet.
I started to pick up as she started to slowly fall asleep on the floor.
I picked her up and put her back in her bed.
I closed the door and walked out to the living room in my pajamas.

It was about 6:30 pm when I went to the bathroom.
I walked back out with a yawn and shoved my hands in my pajama pants pockets.
I looked up from my bare feet and jumped as I saw someone stand in the living room.
"Oh my ever loving god Derek! You scared me!"
"Sorry baby. I didn't mean to!"
Derek walked over to me and embraced me tightly.
"You look tired." He chuckled as he looked at my messy state.
"Ya think?"
He pushed my knotted hair out of my face and looked down at me.
"Even as a babysitter mess, you're still the most beautiful thing in the world to me."
I hugged him again and yawned.
"Why don't you go to sleep. Ill stay up incase t/n needs help." Derek sighed as he smacked my butt.
"Are you sure?" I asked yawning again.
"Positive!" He nodded.
I headed to the couch in the other room and plopped down.
I closed my eyes and quickly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up late at night, probably around nine or ten. I walked out to the living room to see Derek holding t/n.
She was fast asleep on his chest and he was just walking around talking to her but mostly to himself.
I rubbed my eyes and stretched as I caught up to him.
"Hey beautiful." He whispered as he kissed me on the forehead.
"Hi." I yawned back.
"She's been asleep for about ten to fifteen minutes." He noted.
"Okay."
We walked around, Derek still holding t/n who was limp in his arms.
I looked down at her and sighed.
"I'm very indecisive about having kids. I think once I'm older I will wand them but right now? That's a lot of work." I sighed.
"Would it make it easier to know that i would be the dad?" Derek piped up, looking from b/n to me.
My heart leaped as his green eyes glistened as he looked at me.
"Yes." I replied with a slight breathlessness to my voice.
"I have found your weak point." Derek laughed "just mention me being a dad and y/n will swoon. Noted" he talked to himself.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
He smirked back at me while slightly looking down over his shoulder.
"Trust me. I would wait a thousand years to have kids with you if you aren't ready." He stated as he laid t/n down.
"Really Derek? You'd wait for me?"
"Really. I would." He nodded.
We walked out of the room and closed the door quietly.
Once we made it to the living room I threw my arms around derek and pressed my lips to his.
He kissed me back and held me close to him.
"Mmokay... we should... we-" he tried to speak between kisses "mmbaby... we gotta..."
I finally let go and looked up at him.
"As I was saying, we should really go to bed. It's kinda late."
"Okay." I sighed as I pushed my hair back.
"But trust me, we don't have to stop kissing." He smirked.
"You derek Hale are so weird!"
