Looking at her now, the poor girl had even redder cheeks than when I first saw her, and a slight shiver was zooming throughout her body. 'Poor thing.'

"Here, let me help," I placed my hand onto her shoulder and focussed on the nervous energy flowing through her body. It was a little overwhelming to begin with, but I quickly used my quirk to convert that energy into me, and gave her a little bit of the adrenaline I felt pumping through me.

After a moment or two, Uraraka visibly calmed down. The shiver was gone, and her cheeks didn't look so red anymore.

"Wow, Y/N," Uraraka exclaimed, "I feel way better now. What did you do?"

As much as I liked her, I still had to compete against her in this exam, which meant any give away to my power prior to the exam could be a potential threat against me. Instead of sharing my quirk with her, I just smiled cheekily and placed my pointer finger against my lips in a 'shushing' motion.

"Can't tell. It's a secret."

Before I could be questioned further, an announcement was made for our group to make our way towards the arena. This was it.

'This is it,' I thought to myself, following Uraraka and the other members of my group towards to the entrance. 'Time to take the first step into my career as a hero.'

Once outside the front of the doors to the huge test area, Present Mic started to instruct us as to how the test actually ran. However, my eyes caught a flicker of emerald green, and I turned around to see Midoriya. 'Wow? He's in our group, too. Awesome!' I started to make my way over  to wish him luck, but an all too familiar snarl caught my ears' attention.

"Well if it isn't the brat again. Didn't think you were actually for real, but now I see you're just as dumb as Deku."

I turned my attention towards the smirking ash blond boy I sat next to in the lecture hall. Back in the lecture hall, his eyes seemed beautiful, but now I only saw them as scary. It was like an internal fire combined with the natural light of the sun to create a sinister flame that burned in his eyes. Just because his eyes had changed, didn't mean his attitude had as well. And it certainly had not.

"Hi, nice to see you again," I replied as politely as I could. Just because he wanted to be nasty to everyone, didn't mean I had to be nasty back. Maybe if I was civil - even going far enough to say friendly - he'd figure out how stupid he looked and sounded.

"Shut up, ya damn extra," He retorted, "I'll definitely beat your weak ass in this exam, whether it's against you directly or indirectly. I will win." His confidence was certainly inspiring, but I still couldn't understand his ferocity towards everything.

'He's one special kid.'

"Whatever you say, spike-boy," I replied nonchalantly, turning my back to him to get ready for the test. "Just wanted to say good luck, that's all." All I could hear from him was a mixture of non-cohesive words and sounds put together to try and make a comeback. If he did, I didn't hear it. I didn't hear anything as I set myself up for the start.

We all lined up along a line, and waited for Present Mic to call for the start. I turned to both my left and right to see Midoriya and Uraraka set into a running position like myself, determination set like stone upon their faces. I smiled at them, not minding that they didn't see me, but knowing that they were here and they were going to try their best, made me want to do my best too.

"Ready. Set... GO!"

My legs powered straight into a sprint, knowing that I had to find some bots straight away or I'd get behind real quick. Not long after we started, our massive group split up into the many alleyways and streets the testing area provided. I took a left off of the main drag we ran on, and straight away found a bot. A one-point bot, but it's a good start.
