I finally let go Midoriya's hand, slumping back in my seat at the news. My brain went into overdrive as tears sprung to my eyes.
"Iida..."
Who knew what he was going through, at that moment. His brother had been struck by a villain; who knew how bad or how fatal Inginium's injuries were. Fear of the unknown was so much worse than actually knowing what was happening.
'I don't know what I would do if Mum or Dad were hurt. I wouldn't... couldn't...'
I clenched my fists in frustration, wishing that I'd been able to see him before he left. However, I felt a gentle warmth enclose one of my hands, defusing my self-anger for a moment.
"Don't worry, L/N," Midoriya said staring straight ahead, his gaze determined and unwavering. "We'll make sure Iida is all right, okay?"
I nodded silently, wiping away my tears as we rounded another corner, remaining silent the rest of the way. 'You'll be okay, Iida.' I vowed. 'You'll be okay.'

"You'll be okay..." I muttered to myself, turning my attention back to the front, waiting for Mr. Aizawa to speak.
"Despite these results, you'll all be interning with Pros," he said. "Got it? Even those of you who didn't get any offers."
"Oh, so we're all interning?" Midoriya asked curiously, making everyone else's focus heighten on our teacher.
"Yes," Mr. Aizawa confirmed. "You already got experience combat against real villains during the attack on the USJ facility. But, it'll still be helpful to see Pros at work. Up close and personal. In the field, first hand."
"And for that we'll need hero names!" I heard Sato cry out excitedly, fist-pumping the air.
"Things are suddenly getting a lot more fun!" Ochaco expressed her enthusiasm, as well, grabbing her bicep like in the old, war propaganda posters that women posed in.
"These hero names will likely be temporary," our teacher continued, silencing any further outburst. "But, take them seriously, or-"
Suddenly, the sliding door to our classroom burst open, and a booming, high pitched voice echoed throughout the classroom.
"You'll have hell to pay later!" Midnight cried out, sauntering in, a certain sultriness exuding off of her. I cringed at how Mineta, Kaminari, and Sero all brightened up after seeing the R-rated hero waltz in.
"What you pick today, might be your codename for life," she continued, acting 'unaware' that she was flaunting her assets so lewdly. "You better be careful, or you might be stuck with something utterly indecent."
'How can she be so confident when she's practically naked in front of us?! ' I cringed at how Midnight - of all people - was one of our teachers, knowing full well that she was anything but G-rated.
"Yeah, she's got a good point," Mr. Aizawa agreed as Midnight made her way to the front of the classroom. "Midnight is going to have final approval over your names. It's not my forté..."
Mr. Aizawa bent below the desk to grab his old, grubby-looking yellow cocoon of a sleeping bag. 'You've got to be kidding me...'
"The name you give yourself is important," he continued on. "It reinforces your image, and what kind of hero you want to be in the future. A code name tells people exactly what you represent. Take All Might, for example..."
'All Might...' I thought about the name, and smiled at the fact that it was seemingly appropriate. 'He's got a crazy strong quirk, which represents the Might part of his name. But he also fights for the people, meaning he's sharing his quirk, to an extent. That could represent the All...'
