Octane X Reader

You went home that night with butterflies in your tummy. You walked through your door and locked it behind you, walking into your bedroom you searched your draws for some comfortable sleep wear. You fell onto your bed with a huge grin on your face. Wrapping the cover over you and falling to sleep with good dreams.

You woke up the next morning to am alarm on your phone "what I didn't make an alarm" you groaned.

You picked your phone up to see a post on your phone saying

Legends notice

You looked confused and unlocked your phone. After a few minutes or reading you found out that the Apex arena is closed while they do some construction work and that all the Legends were being sent to a tropical island holiday. You saw the picture of the island and saw a nice beach with a light blue, clear ocean. The buildings looked so white and modern. You immediately messaged Octane and he said he'd come over and visit. You jumped out of bed and got ready, changing out of your sleep wear and putting some nice clothes.

A few minutes past and you heard Octane knock at the door. You knew it was Octane because he always knocked on the door super fast, you sometimes got scared he would break it down. You opened the door and gave him a hug as he came inside.

"So free holiday" he said excited.

"Yea it sounds so fun" you squealed.

"I'm so pumped" he started running around.

You laughed, you missed these moments "calm down Octane, do you know when we leave?"

"I heard it's tonight, cuz it takes a while to get there so they say we'd arrive in the morning"

"Tonight!" You shouted in shock making Octane jump "sorry I just haven't packed, oh gosh I need to pack" you ran to your room.

Octane followed behind you and frowned when he entered your room.

"Are you okay?" You asked confused.

"Heh what can I say I just miss you know" he said rubbing the back of his neck.

You frowned before taking your suitcase out from under your bed, until it got stuck.

You pulled it as much as you could "aw come on".

"(Y/n) maybe you shouldn't do that..." Octane said cautiously.

But before you could answer him it came flying out and you went flying with it.

Octane rushed and grabbed you so you didnt fall over but as he did that the suitcase hit him in the back and made him fall forward.

You closed your eyes waiting to feel pain, but nothing. You opened one eye to see his face almost on yours. Although he had fallen on you, you wernt touching the floor. He had his arm around your back with his hand on your waist and the other arm beside you head holding you both up. He was staring at you with bright red cheeks.

"Sorry" you giggled.

He smiled and shook his head playfully. He helped you up and put your suitcase on your bed.

"Thanks" you said unzipping it and going through your wardrobe, picking out some summer clothes.

After an hour you managed to pack everything you needed. You zipped up your suitcase and sat down on your bed.

"All done" you looked around to see Octane was gone. You looked over to the door and saw it closing. "Octane?".

You walked into your living room and saw him stood on you desk chair, spinning really fast.

You laughed "why do you always do that when your here?".

"Its fun...I can't see you" he did his classic laugh.

He jumped of, sliding on his knees over to you.

"That was smooth" you smiled.

"I know"

You offered him lunch and hung out until further notice.

You rolled your suitcase behind you and talked to Lifeline and Bangalore about how excited you were, they agreeing of course.

"I'm so excited" you spoke.

"Oh me too, it's gonna be nice and warm" Lifeline cheered.

"I think we all need this" Bangalore smiled.

"It's nice to see you not so serious for once" Lifeline laughed.

"Uh I'm always serious" he smiled faded.

You and Lifeline laughed to each other. You put your bags with everyone else's and stepped onto the plane. As soon as you saw inside you were shocked.

"Wow they really went all out, it's so beautiful".

"Yea...I know right" Octane said staring at you.

You turned around and smiled. You took his hand and dragged him to a seat, well they were more like sofas.

You sunk into the seat "so comfy"

Octane smiled watching you and sighed.

It had been about an hour since you had set off and you and Octane were talking about how excited you were. Eventually you fell alseep and your head fell on his shoulder.

Octane POV

We had talked for a long time but I could see by her sleepy face that she was about to fall asleep. I couldn't help but wish I had her back so I looked away, until I felt her head rest on my shoulder. I turned quickly to see her sound alseep. Why was I such a fool? Why did I let her go? I need her. I was such an asshole to her. I love her and always will. If I get her back I won't let her go.

Octane blushed and saw Mirage looking at them. He looked sad not jealous, just sad. He immediately looked back as his phone to tear up.

Mirage POV

I saw them together and to be honest I was happy. I was a dick but if anyone knew what I was going threw they might understand.

His phone rang and he picked up as fast as he could.

"Hey mum" he spoke quiet. He paused to hear what she said "mum I'm your son remember me, Elliott".
