Octane X Reader

You looked at Octane in shock "Your serious?"

"Of course I am" He smiled.

You hugged him "I'd love to"

His smile got bigger.

After a week you were fully moved into Octanes apartment. You and Octane had slept in for the day, in each others arms until you heard a knock at the door. You sat up, Octane still fast asleep. You shuffled out from his arms making him wake up.

"Where you going?" he asked.

"There is someone at the door" you replied.

You grabbed a dressing gown and went to the door. You opened it up to see a tall man, middle aged.

"Hello" you said.

"Is my son here?" he asked.

You stayed silent "You mean Octane?" you replied.

"Octane? You mean Octavio" he corrected you.

You only nodded.

"Go get him for me then"

You walked to your bedroom and woke Octane up by tapping his shoulder "Octane, get up?"

"Why?" he groaned.

"Your dad, hes here"

Octane sat up in shock "What does he want?" he got up and put his shorts and tshirt, walking out the bedroom door. You did the same, getting changed and walking out to see Octane stood in front of his dad, they were the same height.

"Octavio"

"Don't call me that" Octane said angrily.

"Don't speck to your father like that, young man" he looked down and saw his metal legs "what the fuck did you do?" he shouted.

"Like you'd care, how many years have you neglected me?"

"Neglected you? Son I have a busy life!"

"Why have a child then!"

At this point they were both shouting at each other.

His dad took a deep breath "I worry about you son, I want to know what happened"

Octane took a moment "Fine. A stunt gone wrong and a grenade"

His dad sighed "Why would you do this? why do you do this? these Apex games?"

"Its where I'm happy, not being stuck with a baby sitter all my life while my parents are no where to be seen...why are you here anyway?"

"Well your the next person in line to run the business, so you'll be coming home with me, pack up your stuff and say goodbye to your roommate"

"roommate?" you said quietly.

They both completely ignored you.

Octane laughed "I'm not going back, not to that life, I'm happy here"

"You want to stay here and damage yourself with these fools" he said pointing at you.

You frowned "Don't talk about her like that"

"Why shes only a roommate"

"Roommate? let me correct you, this woman is my girlfriend" Octane said grabbing your hand.

"You've got to be kidding me, your wasting your life away, Octavio. I will not tolerate this. You will break up with her and come back home with me" His dad said getting more angry.

"I already am home and she is the love of my life, so if you don't mind can you leave our house?"

"Fine but I'll be back and I will change your mind" he said slamming the front door behind him.

Octane sighed and sat on the sofa, his face in his hands. You sat next to him and put your hand on his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" You asked him.

He nodded still hiding his face.

You frowned "You can talk to me"

He looked up at you and your eyes widened, Octane doesn't cry.

"Your...crying"

He looked down.

You quickly hugged him, he hugged back and cried into your shoulder.

"Its okay, I'm here" you comforted him.

"I wish my parents were here for me" he sniffed.

He pulled back still holding you, giving you a quick kiss "I love you, Baby"

"I love you too, but what will happen now?" you asked.

"My dad doesn't give up that easy"

You frowned.

"Don't worry (y/n) I' m not leaving you" He kissed you.

You smiled and kissed back.
