Octane X Reader

Octane had woken up early to do the quest with everyone else.

"I'll see you in a bit, I love you" Octane waved from the bedroom door.

You opened your sleepy eyes "be careful, I love you too" after that you fell back to sleep.

A few hours past before you got out of bed, went for a shower and made some food. You sat on the sofa waiting for Octane to come home after the mission, when your phone went off.

"Hey Lifeline" you answered your phone.

"(Y/n), you need to get here now!" She shouted down the line.

"What? What happened?"

"Just hurry" after that she put the phone down.

You grabbed your crutches and rushed to Lifeline as fast as you could.

You walked into the building and saw Lifeline waiting for you "what's wrong?" You asked, walking over to her.

"Come with me" she took you to the same room you were in when injured.

You walked in and saw Octane lying in the bed, you rushed over "what happened?" you looked at him worried, he was completely knocked out.

"He went into the mission alone" Lifeline explained.

You saw blood leaking through the sheets and you looked to see he was missing his legs, your eyes began to tear up "is he going to be okay?" You asked.

"He'll be fine just needs time, you can go back home if you want"

"No I'll stay" you took a seat next to the bed and waited and waited and kept waiting.

Until finally he woke up, he looked over to see you falling asleep so he took your hand, which made you look up and open your eyes slowly.

He smiled "hi"

"Your an idiot"

"Come on that's what you gotta tell me as soon as I wake up"

You nodded with a straight face.

"Are you mad?" He asked.

"Yes"

"I'm sorry okay I..."

"You! Went in alone" you interpreted him.

"Well yea but..."

"No buts your to reckless"

"Uh yea I love being reckless"

"There's a line and you don't cross it, you've already lost your legs and I mean your real ones, do you wanna loose more?"

"Well I guess not, I mean I go faster with these legs" he sat up and patted his legs to feel nothing "wha?! Where are my legs?!" He pulled the cover off him.

"You lost them" you said.

"I, how?"

"I don't know I wasn't there, no one was cuz you went alone!" You raised your voice and moved closer to him almost leaning over him.

He smiled "yea?"

"You shouldn't be smiling, you could have died"

"But I didn't"

"That's not the point" every word you got closer to him.

"You know your so hot when your angry" he smirked.

You rolled your eyes and stood back up "you never listen and one day you won't get saved Octane" you said walking out the room.

He was left in a bit of shock and you went to sit on the cool grass in the near by park.

An hour passed and you sat there with your eyes closed, lying on the grass, until you heard some metal and someone lying next to you, you kept your eyes closed.

"I'm sorry" you heard Octane say.

You didn't reply.

"I know I can be to reckless and your right, I should listen"

Still you didn't reply.

He leaned over you a little "I hope your not asleep cuz I'm not repeating that"

You opened one eye "I heard you"

"Oh thank god" he took a deep breath.

You looked into his eyes, while he looked off at the sunset and when you looked at the sunset he looked into your eyes.

"What are you looking at?" You asked him.

"belleza" he smiled.

"You know I don't understand" you looked at him.

"Your beautiful"

You didn't say anything just went a little red.

"I knew youd get like that" he moved closer until he had both hands on the grass on each side of you.

"You need to be more careful" you told him.

He sighed "can you just kiss me?"

"If your not careful I'll not have you to kiss".

Before he could say anything you kissed him passionately, him obviously kissing back.

He broke it "what would I do without you?"

"Everything reckless" you said pulling him back to kiss you.
