Octane X Reader

"woah guys we aren't together"

"yet" Octane interrupted you.

you looked at Octane with a playful face, him smiling back.

The sun set over the clear sea water and everyone had gone back to the big house to rest for the night. You and Octane sat and watched the sun set. As it did the darkness filled the sky and it got colder. you started to shiver and Octane noticed, you heard him unzip his sleeveless hoodie and wrap it over you, making him shirtless.

"your not cold?" you asked, turning to him.

"nah but you are, maybe we should get back" he suggested.

"yea your right" you got up and rolled up your beach towel, Octane followed.

the walk back was about ten minutes, you and Octane walk side by side. You loved him so much and knew he loved you back because he was really trying to get you back. You slipped your hand into his and without hesitation he held it tight and smiled to himself.

You both made it back, but it was super quiet.

"did something happen?" you asked.

Octane looked around and saw a wraith portal in the corner of the room, he walked over to it. You both heard gun fire. one of the bullets grazed your left arm "shit" you place your hand on it as it bled.

Octane grabbed your good arm and ran to the portal he jumped through but as you were about to join him is disappeared, making you fall on the floor "you gotta be kidding me"

Octane POV

I made it through the portal but it closed before she made it through.

"wraith!"

she looked at me "oh good your safe...wheres (Y/n)?"

"shes still back there and injured, your portal closed before she could make it"

everyone looked panicked.

"I don't want her hurt, she was the only one there for me when we were all young" Pathfinder shouted grappling back the house.

"Pathfinder wait!" Wraith called.

Octane ran faster then he ever had following Pathfinder.

(y/n) POV

you crawled back as much as you could, but they found you. There was three of them and it sounded like more outside. one of them grabbed your good arm so that you couldn't punch.

"get off me!" you shouted as he dragged you across the floor.

he ignored you and spoke to another man "he wont be happy, we only got one"

"at least we got one" another spoke.

"did you hear me? let me go!"

"oh shut up" he said hitting you across the head with his gun, knocking you clean out.

he through you in the back of a truck and got into the drivers seat, the truck started.

"I wont make it" Octane said angry.

"don't worry I'll get her back" Pathfinder said, his grapple just reached the back of the truck and he zoomed off.

he made it to the back of the truck and saw you unconscious. he picked you up, his robotic wrapped under your arm. he jumped off, almost falling over. Thankfully the truck didn't stop and Pathfinder was able to walk you back. About ten minutes passed and you woke up.

"Pathfinder?" whispered.

"Its okay friend I have got you" he calmly said.

you rested your head on his metal shoulder and let him carry you back to the others.
