Well I didn't mean to die like that. I'm back for now.

Max POV.

My phone vibrated against the nightstand and laid upon while I slid on my hoodie over the shirt Neil had bought me just a week or so before. After I was done with my hoodie, I  leaned over to grab my phone, it was a text from my one and only boyfriend. Seeing that was enough to put a smile on my face. All I wanted was to see him again. It's been hours since we parted, but we'll see each other at school soon, not allowed to show any sort of affection. It was my request though.
{Can you come to school early today}
I replied with, {Why?}
{The school would be nearly empty by then. We'd have a little time to actually act like a couple}
I grinned. The nerd couldn't even wait until after school just to kiss me, or hold my hand.
{Nah}
Neil began typing, but whatever he was typing was irrelevant now since I sent another message after that.
{I'll just stop at your house. We can go to school together}
{Are you sure Max?}
{Positive. You don't live too far} I reassured him.
After that message I slid my phone in my back pocket. I was mostly already ready to make my way over to Neil's home.

Neil POV.
This situation was already unreal. I already asked to be pinched, but he refused. I guess I'll just have to accept that this is reality. I've been crushing on Max for a long time and for him to like me back,,,it's something else.
I was already ready for the most part even though it was nearly an hour until school actually started. I like getting up early, plus I went to sleep right after Max left.

20 minutes pass

There's a few knocks at the door, must be Max. I walked over to open it and I am greeted by a panting sweaty Max.
"Oh.." Max paused to suck in more breaths. "..Hi Neil.."
I quickly let him in, closing the door behind him. "Are you okay? I thought you said I wasn't that far?" I asked, bringing him over to the couch.
"It's not that far. I ran once I seen your house in sight. No time to waste, right?" He chuckled.
I rolled my eyes. Now I'm just working for no reason.
"I didn't keep you waiting for too long, did I?" Max seemed to be fine now.
I shook my head.
"Good." He stood up to kiss my cheek. Again, this is still all new, so of course I my cheeks flushed red. Max laughed at me, guess it took more for him to blush. "Did you have breakfast yet?" He asked me, glancing at the kitchen from a distance. "I was just planning to buy something on my way there, or a granola bar." I shrugged.
"Cool." He grabbed by hand. "This new place opened, maybe we can go there for breakfast."
"But-"
"Relax, we have 44 minutes until we actually have to worry. It's close to the school too, now get your lazy butt here."
Max started dragging out the door already, and he's only been here for a minute.
"I'M lazy?" That was laughable. He just stuck a tongue out at me. Once I locked the door we were off to the nearest bus stop.

Nerris Pov Ooou

"I'm tired of it Harrison!" I hit him in the head with the news paper I picked up.
"When we're you born? The 90's? Why do you have a news paper?!" Harrison questioned me, rubbing his head.
"It's good to be up to the date on what's happening. The little comics are fun too."
"You're sooo abusive."
"YOU ALMOST PUT ME ON FIRE LAST NIGHT!!"
"How was I supposed to know it was going to work!?"
Now we look like two crazy people yelling in front of a diner- Everyone around us glanced at us, some even shook their heads. I just grabbed Harrison's wrist tightly. Of course he complained about it but I didn't really care. This place looked like it was a diner ripped straight from the 50's. Not gonna lie, but it felt kind of cool, like I was going back in time. We sat down at a booth.
"Isn't this so cool? We're not in the future anymore."
Harrison just shrugged.
I girl with curly hair that was brushed up into a ponytail. She wore the uniform. It was a buttoned up red and white stripped dress, with an apron around her waist. She chewed on some gum. It looked like she was sliding across the floor, but that was just slates. They were going all out! No wonder this place took 5 months after it was fully built and decorated.
"Hey guys! Welcome to Danny's old fashioned Diner! Can I start you two off of off with some drinks."
I looked at Harrison who already had his head stuff into the menu while I was admiring the place. "I would like some orange juice, what about you Nerris?" Harrison smirked at me, knowing I didn't have the slightest idea.
"Uh...water! Yes, water. Water please."
She wrote that down into her little notebook. "Okay! Be back soon." She skated away.
I rolled my eyes at Harrison, don't threw me under the bus like that. I picked up my menu, strolling through the pages until I reached where the breakfasts were.
"Heard this place has bad service. We should be okay." Harrison reassured me for some reason.
"Okay." The moment I look up from the menu I see Max and Neil walk in, hand and hand. I was expecting to see Nikki behind them,,,but it was just them? "Don't look behind you but I see Max and Neil-"
Harrison whipped his head around to see them. "I said DON'T!"
"Well you're the one yelling. Who would they notice first?" He turned back to me.

I watched them for a while. Something happened between them. I watched Max wrapped his arm around Neil, giving him a kiss on the cheek, laughing afterwards. I GASPED. "Harrison, Harrison, look at Max and Neil!" Harrison looked over at them, just as stunned as me. "We have to tell Nikki that her planned worked!" I swung my feet happily.

Max POV.

"You're such a dork." I told Neil. He just looked away, but then he began staring at something.
"What are you looking a-" i couldn't even finish my sentence. When I looked where Neil was looking, my eyes were greeted with both Nerris and Harrison's eyes.
