“Oh no, I was just coming out of class.”
“Your class ends at 5:30? That’s late.”
“Yeah it is but I get Mondays off so I figure that it all evens out in the end.” His chuckled was heard through out my entire car due to the fact that I had him on bluetooth; I was enveloped in his laugh.
“Well I was just wondering if you were doing anything this fine Thursday evening.”
“Absolutely nothing. What are you doing this splendid evening?”
“Hanging out with you.” The smile on my face was so big that I had to close my eyes.
“Oh are you?”
“Indeed I am.” I could tell he was smiling.
“Well do you want me to pick you up? I’m just leaving my school now, I can swing by yours and we can go hang out somewhere.” I was hoping I didn’t sound too eager.
“Ok.” He proceeded to give me an address.
“Ok. I should be there in fifteen minutes if traffic isn't bad.”

“Hello there.” I said when Calum opened the door to my car.
“You look very nice.” He said it laced with sarcasm.
“What this?” I said gesturing to my body. “I happen to think that band tees and leggings are a good look.” I pulled out onto the road and started driving.
“I agree one hundred percent. The bun onto of your head makes it all come together very nicely.” I turned to look at him and he was smirking at me making me smile.
“Anyways, where are we going?”
“I want you take me to your favourite place in the city.” He said it right away as if he put thought into it.
“Are you trying to unravel my brain?”
“Well like I said, I appreciate your brain.” I laughed a nervous yet giddy laugh. I had my eyes on the road and it was silent for a couple seconds. I pulled up to a red light and looked over at him and was surprised when he was looking back at me with his eyes twinkling.
“Why are you staring at me like that?’
“Because I enjoy looking at beautiful things and I decided a while ago not to deny myself the simple pleasures of existence.” He had smug look on his face. I let out a groan that game out more as a squeak.
“You are going to kill me with your cheesy-ness Calum.” I covered my face with my hands trying to hide my blushing cheeks.
