The Five: Elementals

Suddenly an orb of green appeared in the middle of the room and started to grow untill it was as big as a door.

"Who's first?" Arina asked everyone.

"You" I say crossing my arms.

She nods.

"Very well then, I will see you all on the other side"

She walked through the portal causing it to bubble over.

"Kay, dad, addy, Alex and you" I say gesturing to the group purposefuly not saying Celia's name earning me a glare from dad.

"Y'all are next"

They approached the portal and one at a time stepped through.

"I'll go next I guess" Greg said casting a glance in my direction.

"Drake and Katie?" Katie nodded.

"Thank you for not leaving me behind by the way" she said placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Sis as if I would leave you" I smile at her widely.

Drake grabs her hand and together they step through.

"Mkay guess I'm next" Danielle said flipping her hair over her shoulder she stepped through the portal.

"Amiyah?" She nodded and grabbed Ashton's hand.

I swear, I knew something was going on between them!

"I guess we're next"

I nodded solemnly, after we walk through that portal he will officially be engaged to my sister.

"Together?" I asked meekly.

He grabbed my hand "together"

We walked towards the portal and stepped through letting it engulf us.

"Okay now that everyone is through, Alexis you can close the portal" Arina said.

I looked up to see a girl who looked similar to me but she definitely had a year or so on me.

"Hi, I'm Amiyah" Amiyah said taking a step forward.

"And this is my twin sister Aaliyah"

I nodded in her direction but didn't move.

"I'm Alexis, it's so nice to meet you both" she said pulling Amiyah in for a hug.

I groaned and looked around we seemed to be in a cabin of sorts, there was a small fire at the other end of the room and a couch behind us.

"You must be Ryan" Alexis said turning her attention towards him a smile stretching across her face.

"I've only seen pictures but you definitely are a sight for sore eyes" she joked and for some odd reason that sparked a weird twinge of jealousy in my stomach.

"Thank you" he said laughing quietly to himself.

"You must be Alexis"

"Ye-" I cut her off.

"I think we've already established that, Arina when can we get to our 'natural elements' so we can shift?" She visibly flinched when I called her by her first name.

I let go of Ryan's hand despite my protesting heart and took a step forward not giving Alexis even a slight glance.

"Your right, we should get a move on. Kandy?" She said into the air, I looked at her confused.

When a girl dressed only in an oversized t-shirt waltzed right on in.

"Yes mother?"

"Mother?" Amiyah screeched.
