"were going to do what?!" I exclaimed.

She said shrugging.

"Look ma'am you may be the expert at this, but need I remind you we just got our wings like...NOW and then the guy I lik- the guy I'm friends with gets kidnapped by an angel and now you, YoU expect US to fly?"

"Yes" she said simply.

"I'm not doing it" I say and turn my back on them as if that would do anything.

And before you say anything, yes I know I'm being immature...I don't care.

I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder.

"Hey?"

I looked over to see Alex.

"What's going on?" He asked.

I smiled at him.

"Nothing, I'm just stressed. And falling out of the sky was not on my to-do list today"

He laughed.

"Trust me, it's not on mine either"

He gave me a long meaningful look, and I groaned.

"Why do I feel like there's a 'but' after that sentence?"

"Because there is" he stated.

"Why does there always have to be a but!" I mentally curse the universe.

"I was going to say but, if we don't fly to the palace you won't see Ryan again"

I rolled my eyes.

"What makes you think I wanna see Ryan again" I say crossing my arms.

"Because you do"

"Fine I'll go, but only cause you asked nicely".

We rejoined the rest of the group.

"So" I say.

"How do we fly"

She gave me a weird smile.

"Well they are your wings and now technically your limbs, so you just move them like you would your arms"

"Woah"

I looked over and addy was floating, no FlYiNg.

"Addy, your doing it!" I squealed.

Now that is a sight for sore eyes.

She laughed and did a somersault in the air.

"She's right it's super duper easy, it's like moving regularly!"

Okay, it's like moving your arms.

I nod at her and close my eyes.

I shout to the voice in my head

I imagine the dark blue wings on my back moving in sync like I had seen multiple times on Tinkerbell. I imagine them fluttering so fast you can hardly see them moving, I imagine my feet slowly lift from the ground and gliding through the air.
