"Wow your mom really gets around" Danielle commented and I shot her a glare.

"No Kandy is my adopted daughter, she is a phoenix and was left behind by her parents so I took her in"

"Mate" the girl whispered looking awestruck.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

I followed her line of eyesight to see her staring at Greg who also shared her awestruck appearance.

"I see Greg has found his mate"

As if on cue me and Ryan's eyes met and a wave of emotion flooded through me, I tore my gaze away and looked at my hand.

"That we will explain later time is of the essence so this is how it's gonna work, Alexis will make a portal for Danielle since her natural element is the farthest and don't worry Danielle you will not be alone another girl will be there to assist you in your shift.

Kandy, you will fly Greg and drake to the forest since they are close and drake there will be another there to assist you as well and Greg Kandy will be your help. Now Alexis will take Amiyah, Aaliyah, Addison, Alex and Ryan to the fae kingdom so they all can shift and I will escort Michael, Celia and Katie back to the palace"

We all nodded ready to start on our way.

Arina led us outside where we were face to face with a beautiful forest.

"Okay Danielle I'm ready" Alexis said forming a blue orb until it expanded into a portal.

Danielle marched through and not seconds later Alexis closed the portal.

I looked over and Kandy took a step back when blue and black smoke made a tornado like fog around her when it cleared in her place was a large phoenix that was a few inches taller than me, she had beautiful dark blue feathers that expanded into black.

She flapped her wings until she was a few feet up and with her talons she picked Greg and drake up and flew away.

"You don't see that everyday" Katie commented.

"Yea well you don't really see any of this everyday" I snapped, and I know I shouldn't have and she didn't do anything wrong im just in a really pissy mood.

And your definitely not blocking out that feeling you got when you made eye contact with lover boy over there.

Before walking away with Celia, Katie, Ashton and my dad in tow.

"I guess we should get going" Alexis said.

I rolled my eyes and we began our journey.

I trudged through the evergreen too mad to really take in the beauty.

When I heard Alexis giggle, I looked up to see her walking with Ryan.

Wtf I know Ryan and I know for a fact he isn't that funny.

I watched as she placed her hand on his shoulder and they made eye contact.
