A Journey Through Time (Tintin x Reader)

Nobody P.O.V - back in Marlinspike hall.

Tintin and captain were outside near professor's rose beds waiting till professor calculus arrives back home from his lab.

They waited a while (Y/N) to accompany them.

'Now where's your (Y/N)? She wanted to meet Calculus' captain looked around .

'she went to have a bath captain, you know that' said Tintin in an obvious tone ignoring captain's remark .

'Thundering typhoons! if I'd take that much of time I'd be melted already my boy!' said captain as he patted Tintin on his shoulder.

'come on captain, give her a little more time ,she has to change ~... GREAT SNAKES!'

'Blistering Barnicles! what now?!' captain asked puzzled as Tintin ran towards the mansion.

'why captain! she doesn't have any new clothes to wear! no wonder she's taking time! how can I be so stupid! I should have given her some of mine' he called out as his voice slowly fainted .

'But... I ... what about ... well...nah ! never mind 'captain snorted .

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

'okay, calm down , why dont you ask Tintin or the captain for help? ' I murmered to myself.

I checked every drawer in my room hoping to see any kind of clothing but I found none. The only things I've got left is my undergarments and my bathing robe.

Damn it!

Better ask Tintin, he's my age...I think? , so probably he'll understand me better than captain but, asking a guy you've just met for clothes is... pretty...awkward right?

I reached towards the doorknob and thought for a while before twisting it , and as I'm about to twist it someone knocked on the door from the otherside.

'who is it?'

'(Y/n), it's me...Tintin, I realised that you don't have any clothes to change so, I bought you some of mine , may I come in ?'

I thanked God because now I don't have to ask that stupid favour from him.

'Oh...yes come in' I opened the door and went backwards .

he came in with a bundle of clothes in his hands .

'hello (Y/N), I see you've enjoyed your bath...' He continued. 'well , why dont you wear these clothes for now ? they are mine and hope you wouldn't mind' he said akwardly as he kept them on the bed .

'oh thats very kind of you Tintin, thank you! and why would I mind?' I asked thankfully.

He smiled at me in response. I bit my lip and looked down.

There was an akward silence.

urgh this is so akward , probably one of the most akward situation I've ever faced.

somehow Tintin managed to break the silence. he cleared his throat .

'umm... well... I should get going then , meet us down stairs near the rosebeds , go downstairs to the main entrance, then go to your left and follow the pathway, it leads straight towards professor's lab'

'riiight' I quickly memorized the instructions.

'or...should I wait downstairs for you?'

'umm...I'm sure I can manage' I smiled at him.

'Okay then, see you downstairs!' he beamed , gave me a nod and went out.

I slowly closed the door behind him and breathed out.
