10. The Surprise

He smiled at her ,but (y/ N) didn't notice.

Tintin looked back at Captain to see his reaction, and just as he thought he was staring at Tintin and (y/ N) one after another with his jaw dropped as if its about to touch the ground .

'So that's how you... fixed her problem?'captain asked dumbfounded .

'uhh... yes?' Tintin replied in an obvious tone as if nothing peculiar happened.

captain raised an eyebrow and gave Tintin a sly smile.
Tintin immediately knew what he's thinking , so he groaned and rolled his eyes ignoring captain's odd grin.

This made captain laugh .

But professor didn't notice her , he kept walking behind what he said as a rare butterfly.

'Ha HAAA! Congratulations my boy! I knew you'd find someone in the end!' captain teased Tintin while nudging Tintin and patting him on his shoulder.

But this time Tintin couldn't ignore it.

'Oh be quiet captain! And could you PLEASE stop making fun of us two? Is helping her out that bad?' he blushed and quickly tried to shut captain's mouth.

This made captain laugh even more .

'will you please be quiet? SHE'LL HEAR YOU!' Tintin whisper-yelled .

'okay! okay! I'll try my best not to ruin it Laddie , dont you worry! but I'm so happy for you! By the way I saw the look she gave ya' He winked.

'Theres nothing like that !' Tintin glared.

'Like what?' captain snickered.

'FORGET IT!' Tintin whisper yelled again.

Y/n's P.O.V

I walked to them , Tintin and Captain saw me waved, but Calculus kept walking around the pathway absent mindedly like he's chasing something.

I heard captain yelling "surprise" out loud when I entered the pathway. I saw captain nudging Tintin on the shoulder and chuckling at him. Tintin hissed at him lowering his sound to a whisper .They quickly stopped whatever their talking about and smiled at me .

wonder what they were talking about...

'Err... hi' I called out , which made Calculus jump.

Y/N! WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING HERE MY GIRL ?' he ran towards me and hugged me , I immediately hugged him back.

'I'm so worried what happened my darling?' Professor asked as he held my hands.

Oh... I... umm... ESCAPED FROM THEM !' I yelled out loud and gestured with my hands for him to hear and understand what I say well.

So I took calculus for a walk I explained all about what happened and how I escaped , He listened carefully and as I imagined, understanding what I've said .

I have this special way to communicate with him , I yell out loud what I have to say or lip sync if I want to tell something that should be heard out loud . Also I use my hands to gesture whatever I say . well... its kind of like mixing sign language and lip reading together.

We travelled around the garden and ended up from where we started.

'wonderful! clever girl! I knew you'll be alright! she should stay with us shouldn't she captain?'

'yes indeed!' captain smiled. Tintin nodded in agreement.

'Bravo! well spoken! let's meet your father in the evening' said Professor.
'I'll see you later , I'm going home... goodbye!' He waved at us and started to walk towards the hall with his guards.

I turned towards Tintin, 'thank you very much for lending me your clothes' I thanked him.

'no problem' he smirked. I smiled back.

'and I'm glad they fit you well' he remarked , which made me blush a little .

'me too, or otherwise I'd be a walking dead like I've been before' I joked. He too chuckled while nodding his head in agreement .

urgh... this is ridiculous!

Then again... there was that akward silence.

'ahem' captain cleared his throat and broke the silence.

thanks captain!

'Now my boy! tell your (Y/ N) to come inside , it's a bit chilly don't you think. '

I raised an eyebrow.

Surely Tintin felt the same thought like I just did , that's probably why he gave captain an "are you kidding me" stare which made captain to close his mouth and mimic "sorry".

Then Tintin immediately changed the conversation to stop further misunderstandings.

'yes... pretty hot indeed let's cold ourselves by the fire... so we can meet your father afterwards and let's inform the authorities that you're okay .'

'okay, good idea!... let's go in I'm freezing' I crossed my arms infront of my chest to warm up myself as a cold wind blew through the brightly shaded autumn trees.

'After you' Tintin let me walk out first.

'thanks'

We walked through the pathway , with captain behind of us and entered the hall to warm ourselves by the fire.

in case if you thought about what Tintin and Captain talked while (y/n )was speaking with the professor ...

Nobody's P.O.V

'Well...do you see something funny?' Tintin asked captain as he stared at (y/n) and professor calculus in complete disbelief.

'Yes indeed! by thunder!' captain too stared to the two scientists.

'What?' Tintin asked captain to see if he realizes the same thing as he does.

'She looks just like you and good looking in your clothes?'

Tintin glared at captain. Captain immediately knew he was wrong.

'What?'

'Can't you see professor seems to understand every single word she says?' Tintin hissed .

'Blistering barnicles! it's true ! that little technocrat knows how to speak with that old brain buster!'

'That's what excatly I'm saying captain!, and what do you make of it?' asked Tintin curiously.

'Well my boy, it would forever be a mystery to my poor old soul' Captain patted Tintin on the shoulder.

'Also can you PLEASE stop making fun of me in front of (y/ N)? You know how embarrassed she was during breakfast?'

'Sorry my lad. Its my first time seeing you interact with a young lass your age, so I thought of making it memorable'

'I get it but don't embarrass her!'

'I promise I won't my boy, but still its fun to see ya blush. Hehe!'

'Oh stop it captain! here comes the professor' Tintin quickly stopped their conversation as Calculus came near them with (y/n) to ask if she could stay with them for a while .
