He gave me a wary look "I'm fine trust me. I just wanna do something" he sighed.

"Today is cardio for the females and lifting for the boys" I nodded.

"You need to complete two laps around the track, then when your done get back in here and run some suicides with the rest of the girls"

I looked forward and Alexis, Katie, Amiyah and Danielle we're running back and forth and all the boys were on the other side of the room lifting weights.

"Jug will supervise you while you do your laps"

I smiled widely for some reason excited to get training.

"Kay!" I jogged outside where jug was talking to addy.

"I'm ready for my laps"

"Are you sure you should be doing this?" Addy asked.

I nodded "I'm fine" I say walking to the starting line.

Jug chuckled "that's the spirit, go!"

Seconds after the words passed his lips my body lurched forward and I began sprinting, faster than I've ever ran before.

What's even more surprising is the fact that my breathing was even and I wasn't even breaking a sweat, the end of the second curve was coming up and I pushed harder passing the finish line completing my first lap.

I smiled against the wind as I ran I've never felt so free before and the fact that I'm running at this unnatural speed makes my smile widen.

Without even realizing I had completed the second lap. Addys mouth was open in shock and jug had on a large smile.

"I knew there was a track star somewhere in there!" I laughed adjusting my ponytail.

We walked back inside as jug informed me how the suicides were working.

"Alexis is in the lead with 40 so far, Amiyah in second with 37, Danielle always one lap behind Amiyah and Katie in last with 28" I nodded.

I went to the opposite side of the gym and waited for them to run to this side, when there door touched the line is when I ran forward easily passing Katie.

I ran back and forth through the gym a smile still on my face I don't know why I wanna train so bad and why I'm so good but I'm not complaining honestly.

At one point I must have closed my eyes because a loud whistle made them snap open.

I stopped running and looked around me all the other girls were gassed and sweaty, I felt normal honestly.

"In first place we have Aaliyah" jug said sounding a bit surprised.

"What! How! I was here long before she was!" Alexis exclaimed.

I smiled happy that she was jealous. "Well she ran more than you did, she ran 95 and you ran 84" jug said looking at his clip board.

"Don't feel bad, your probably just out of shape" I say sending her a wink.

Her face reddened and if this was a cartoon I swear smoke would be blowing out of her ears. "Ughhhh!" She marched angrily back to the locker room and it took everything in me not to laugh.
