With Newtmas

NEWT POV:

It was October and it was a thunderstorm outside. I was at walmart with my mom. She doesn't exactly like how I'm gay. We finished with the groceries and started to head to the halloween section of the store. I felt light headed. "Hey, are you okay" a man asked. My vision caved in and I blacked out. I was laying on the ground with a jacket covering me and a pillow to support my head. I could hear the thunder outside. I moved my head and opened my eyes. "Hey, you feel okay" asked the man. He was cute. "What happened" I weakly asked. "You fainted. A ambulance should be here soon" said the man. "Really" I asked surprised. "This man claims you're type 1 diabetic from tasting your blood" said my mom. "Hey, if I didn't your son probably would of died and you can have the doctors test him if you wish" said the man. My scuffed and rolled her eyes. "What is your name" I asked. "Thomas" said the man. "I'm Newt" I said. "He's over here" said a girl. A worker led the doctors to me.

They put me on a stretcher and lifted it up. "Whose jacket is this" I asked as I held the leather jacket. "You can keep it. You look cute with it" said Thomas. I blushed a little. The doctors wheeled me to the hospital where I was tasted and sent to rest. They confirmed that I was type 1 diabetic and will stay at the hospital for a few days. My blood sugar was a bloody mess. So I had to stay at the hospital. I am surprised the jacket fits me perfectly. It's almost like Thomas knew my size. I remember his impossible eyes. The eye color. They were the perfect shade of brown. I was in my room watching the maze runner. There was a knock on the door. I paused the movie and saw Thomas. "Hey Thomas" I said. "Hey, how are you feeling" asked Thomas. "Better, what are you doing here" I asked. Thomas the room and sat down. "I wanted to come see you. I wanted to make sure you are doing better then last time we saw each other" said Thomas. "Well I do feel better. I am glad that you were there" I said.

"Some one had to know how to save you" said Thomas. I smiled. "Ya, I am lucky you were there. Thanks Thomas" I said. Thomas smiled. "So I talked to the doctors and they said that I can take you to walk around the hospital if you want" said Thomas. "Okay, there is one part that I like" I said. Thomas had to get a nurse to make sure we don't damage the monitors. I also had to use a wheel chair. Just in case if I faint again. I told Thomas how to get there and we made it to the cafeteria. There was trees, a water fall, etc. It was really peaceful. Thomas parked the chair next to a bench and sat on the bench. "I see why you chose this place. It is peaceful" said Thomas. "Ya, I guess it's the waterfall and scenery. It's pretty nice" I said. "What about the food" asked Thomas. I chuckled a little. "That's good two" I said. "Are you okay with being diabetic" asked Thomas. "Ya, I'm lucky to be alive. No one has a perfect body. I'm just lucky it's not cancer or anything" I said. My phone dinged.

I grabbed it from my pocket and saw the notification. I write fanfiction sometimes. Thomas looked over my shoulder as I read the comment. "I didn't know you write stories" said Thomas. I blushed. "Well it's mostly fan fiction. I have a few original ideas. Anyway ya. I like writing" I said. "So what is Monster Town about" asked Thomas. I explained the plot of the story and what all happens. "So Naris must decide to either stay with Stephen and become a zombie or go back to the human world and never see Stephen again until next halloween" I said. "So, do you like zombies" asked Thomas. I blushed. "Ya, not the whole walking dead but ya I would fuck a zombie" I said. Thomas and I both blushed. "If I was married of course. I don't like how hollywood made the zombies. It doesn't make sense" I said. "Ya, I don't like the whole making zombies idiots. I think they are a lot smarter then people believe. That or people are idiots" said Thomas. I laughed a little. I can see that. We have flat earthers, anti vaxers, the tide pod challenge, tik tok, etc. Thomas and I talked some more till I went back to the room. We have a lot in common.
