With Newtmas

THOMAS POV:

I was giving Newt a tour of the zombie town. He was finally a zombie and I could finally show him the world. We decided to get some lunch at a buffet. The Royal Fork. "I use to go to this restaurant as a kid. It shut down in the human town from the bloody virus" said Newt. "Well at least it still loves here" I said. We paid for two people and set our stuff at a table. Newt and I got a plate. We started collecting food. Newt picked up a spoon and scooped up the salad soup. "What is that" he asked as he poured it back into the pot. "Salad soup. Unlike humans we have our salad as a soup. Lettuce does get wet and watery when it decays so you can have it as a soup or they drain the water so it's just lettuce" I said. Newt put some in a bowl. "I guess I can try it" said Newt. I got some moldy fruit and filled my plate. We sat down and started eating. Newt seemed to like the salad soup.

We call it that because it's a salad but in the form of soup. It's the same stuff though. Lettuce and what ever else you put on it. Newt and I got another plate of food. I grabbed a finger and showed it to Newt. When people donate their bodies to science instead of being cremated they are given to the zombies to eat. Unless the family wishes to have their ashes. "Do you want one" I asked. Newt looked at the finger and yelped. He dropped the plate and it broke. "What the bloody shuck? Is that a human finger" asked Newt. "Ya, you're a zombie. Is it really that surprising" asked Thomas. "I bloody thought we didn't eat people" said Newt. "We do, sometimes. Only the ones who are dead and donated their bodies to science or donors. I think donors but I'm not sure" I said. "That's bloody creepy" said Newt. "Don't humans eat animal fingers or something" I asked. "Not usually, the closet I ever bloody had was chicken fingers" said Newt. I was confused. "But chickens don't have fingers" I said. "I know, that's just what they were called" said Newt. "Well what about pig feet. Do you eat those" I asked.

Newt thought for a minute. "I never heard of it but I don't think so" said Newt. I was surprised. "So humans waist good meat" I asked. "No, that's what hot dogs were. It was all left overs" said Newt. "Newt, that's just the trimmings stuff. I know humans waist some animal parts like the eye, tongue, heart" I said. Newt was surprised. "I bloody wonder what was in that hot dog we had at the hospital" said Newt. "Its mostly the same as humans" I said. "So, are those human eyes" asked Newt. I looked at the tag. "No, it's cow eyes. They are actually delicious" I said. Newt stood there for a minute. "I'm going to get a new plate" he said. Newt got a new plate and started collecting food again. I asked a worker for the stuff to clean up the mess. I felt like I should clean it since it was kinda my fault. Newt took a cow eye and we sat down. We also got desert. Which was just moldy cake. We sat down and started eating again. Newt cut the cow eye into small pieces and slowly took a bite. "That's surprisingly amazing" said Newt. "See, eating other animal parts aren't so bad" I said. Newt took another bite. "You know, I think I can get use to this" said Newt. I gave Newt a peck on the lips and we continued eating and talking.
