The Ghost Within

Blair laid back against the chair and looked at his phone.

•if you need next time I'll pick you up. They're assholes and dont even deserve to be in your presence. Shes too fucking dumb to see he cheats and is gayer than a rainbow.

Blair frowned and took a breath,

•I hope you feel better baby. I miss you.Tawny was in the back room, removing all his things to get dressed for work.

Tawny saw the texts, he smiled placing his apron on.

•I miss you too, I'll have a break in a couple hours. Maybe I can call you or something.

•please do. I'm dying without hearing your voice.

Blair smiled to himself and set the phone down, he got up from where he was laying and pulled his shirt back on 

"Thanks man, I'll see you again soon. " he said and walked out the shop and headed to the store.  He rode his skateboard kicking it up as he walked in.

Tawny hummed to himself, helping his coworker Jared make the coffee's and teas.

It was a pretty slow day so nothing too crazy.

"How's your head?" Jared asked.

Tawny scrunched his nose, washing off the utensils. "It's alot better than earlier."

"Well that's good, anyways uhm haven't seen you in a couple days. Anything new come up?"

The sound of something falling off the shelf caught his attention.

"You alright?" Jared asked seeing Tawny's confused face.

"Yeah, sounded like something fell.." Tawny said drying off his hands and stepping from around the counter.

"Huh? I uh... didn't hear anything."

Tawny frowned, "Probably another spirit... they've been really active lately. Like I'm witnessing a lot more than normal..."

Another slow hour went by and Jared's shift ended and Tawny was able to take his break.

He went into the back and unlocked his locker, grabbing his phone.

He sent a message to Blair.

•Hey you busy?

Blair spent a while at the store finding what he needed,he pulled his phone out reading the message.

• No I'm not, finally on break?

Tawny giggled and pressed the call button, stepping out back behind the Cafe.

Blair smiled and wasted no time answering as he kept skating. "Hello,"

"Hi, what are you up to mister?" Tawny's sweet voice came from the other end.

"Nothing heading home from the store. How long do you have for a break?" He asked softly huffing lowly shifting his bags.

"Uhm about 15 minutes," Tawny replied, looking towards the trees.

"Hm dammit okay, hey do me a favor step out front really quick," Blair spoke softly.

Tawny stood up, "How'd you know I was out back creeper?" He giggled stepping back in the door to walk towards the front.

"Wild guess?" He chuckled and as soon as tawny stepped out the door blair rolled up on his skateboard and stopped, a big smile coming to his face seeing tawny. "Hey beautiful,"

"Nice wheels," Tawny smiled, ended the call. He brushed the hair from his face looking at him.

Blair rolled his eyes at him and shrugged, "I haven't found my truck keys so I'm improvising. " he smiled and handed tawny a bag full of snacks. Containing most of tawnys favorites and a few random ones. "I have a shit memory so I just grabbed whatever made me think of you so I hope you enjoy the snacks. "

"Blair..." Tawny whined.

"You very attractive caring man..." he grunted.

He took the bags and hugged him, nearly melting in his arms. A wide smiling painting on his mouth.

"Missed you..." he muttered

Blair softly laughed and hugged him tightly, "I missed you too tawn," he placed a kiss to his cheek.

Tawny couldn't help but let out a low squeal. He covered his mouth and quickly apologized, "Sorry." He then pulled away to look up at him.

He smiled brightly, "Hello," he whispered.

"You squeal a lot but dammit its fuckin' cute," Blair chuckled and shook his head, "hi bellissimo"  he softly took his waist in his arm.

Tawny blushed widely again and giggled.

Blair took his chin and titled his head up pecking his lips softly and smiled as he stepped back a little. "Would you like to have lunch or dinner with me tomorrow? "

"Would it be a little much if I say both?" Tawny asked looking up at him.

" nope because that just means I get to spend the whole day with you," he smiled at him.

"Well you're in luck because I only have two classes tomorrow," Tawny smiled brightly.

That's when a car pulled up and a woman walked out.

Blair almost immediately got a pounding headache and he blinked and the cafe before him was blacked out.

Tawny was gone and a guy in a hoodie
was walking towards towards the store.

He felt someone grab him and he heard Tawny's worried voice.

"Bl-Blair?" He asked.

Blair rubbed his temple and looked around before tawny came back in view. He frowned and touched tawnys arm and shook his head lightly. "What the fuck.." he muttered lowly and then looked directly at tawny emotion of confusion and discomfort written over his face.

"What... what...?" Tawny asked looking at him.

"Is everything alright?"

"I don't know what I just saw but..whatever it was I definitely didn't like it" he looked around again as if catching his ground before his attention was back on tawny

Tawny frowned, when his alarm for his break being over sounded.

"D-dammit..." Tawny said not knowing what to do.

"I don't want you leaving after that but I know my boss won't let you stay..."

"I'll be fine, I just probably need to lay down.. go ahead and go back in before you get in trouble, bellissimo.. I'll see you soon. Just text me when ever you can..okay?"

Tawny nodded with a frown, "I will... just be careful please. Here..." he says pulling out his phone.

"If something happens, call Jared... I work with him, he doesn't live far from the apartment. Tell him your name he'll know who you are..." Tawny said texting Blair a number.

"I don't want you falling and getting a concussion or something," he says kissing his cheek and hugging Blair again.
