The Ghost Within

Tawny shook his head, a small smile appearing on his face.

He pulled up the blankets showing him three different ones.

"A-ahead of you... I got h-hot... now it's c-c-cold again..." he pulled them up over his body, hunching over a little.

"Hm hm. "  blair puffed his phone in and set it so tawny could still see him as he laid down.

Tawny frowned, looking at him.

"What baby?" He questioned pulling a pillow under his head.

Tawny shook his head and shrugged.

"I - I don't k-know."He nodded and stared at the ceiling and sighed.

Tawny frowned again, "U-uhm...how was the rest of y-your day...?" He asked trying to make conversation.

Blair turned his head and looked at the phone, "it was okay, I came home and becca had cleaned the whole place. Im glad I stopped to get her stuff on the way home..I would have probably felt like an asshole," he sighed and shrugged a little and looked down at his sleeping sister. "You know ever since she's met you she's finally become interested in Crystal's like me and she's been lighting more candles buying random little plants and she's talked more she's wore shorts and short sleeves I havent seen her like this in a while.." he finally looked up again, "thank you for giving me my sister back.." he looked down again.

Tawny lightly chuckled, "It's n-n-nothing. I enjoy her c-c-company..."

"Something told me to try a little h-harder with her... that'd she'd e-eventually warm up to m-me."

"She adores you," he looked at him leaning back again. "And I'm glad she approves"

Tawny smiled, "I uh miss you guys..." he said finally looking up again.

He then looked at one of the doctors walking by.

"We miss you to munchkin " he  hummed.

Tawny blushed and nodded, "I think their c-coming to give me my m-medicine now.. s-so ill s-s-see you two t-t-tomorrow?"

Blair nodded and smiled at him, "yes. You most definitely will," he said gently.

Tawny smiled again, "Get s-some sleep..." he said.

He waved at him and told him he loved him as the doctor walked in.

"I love you too, please give yourself a break," he said gently.

He heard the doctor chuckle, "Will you listen to him? He's had a bad day today, he had to get restiched twice today," Blair heard the doctor say.

Tawny looked down, not daring to meet Blair's eyes.

Blair sighed, "then I hope hes learned his lesson and will stop, that's just longer he'll gave it stay in there and then he'll see," he said gentlyTawny pouted and shook his head.

"I - I have to g-g-go..." The short brown haired male muttered before ending the call.

The doctor proceeded to fix up his bandages and give him his medications. Then told him if he would only take it easy for a day and a half, he'd probably get to go home on the weekend.

The only downside was using crutches for a little while until he regained the strength in his bad foot.

"I'll see you soon," he rolled over when he hug up Turing the light off and closing his eyes.

The very next day, Tawny felt a whole lot better than he did the last two days. The medication was actually starting to help and he could breath a little easier.

Jared had brought over some things from the house for Tawny to do. From a couple craft books and a couple other things.

He was catching up on some reading when someone knocked on the door.

Knowing Blair or Becca would have texted or called before coming in, Tawny sat the book down. Confused.

"Uh, uh... come in?" He called out.

The door opened revealing Erin and her boyfriend. The male had flowers in his hands.

Becca and Blair woke up the next day and went to the store to pick up a little bit of stuff then headed for tawny. Becca had messaged tawny asking if he were awake but still eventually arrived before he replied.

They arrived to the floor stopping at the nurses station.

Tawny clutched the nurse's button in his hand, looking between Erin and the guy.

The male sat the vase of flowers down by the bed.

"We wanted to see how you were doing..." Erin said smugly, which caused Tawny to sigh.

"Why?"

The male looked at him then back at Erin.

They got what they asked for and were soon on their way down the hall for tawnys room.

On their way in, they passed by Erin and the guy. They had seemed to be coming from Tawny's room.

Upon Blair and Becca getting to the room, Tawny had been staring off.

Eventually laying eyes on the two siblings he immediately perked up.

Blair eyes the couple, his face showing his distaste as he walked into the room with Becca.

Blaor looked at tawny and he visually relaxed a small smile coming to his lips. Becca moved to the side of the bed with a smile.

Blair shook his head, "what did they want?"

Tawny whined and reached for her, wanting a hug.

Upon getting his hug, he looked at Blair.

"Mm - mm, they wanted to check on me... I guess...?" He said lowly in confusion.

Becca hugged him carfully and sat down,"I havent heard anything about it but okay," he said and sat down himself after kissing his head.

Tawny shrugged before playing with his fingers.

He looked at Becca, "H-how have you been?" He asked.

Blair smiled and laid his head back.

"Okay I missed you, I brought- well we brought you some books to read and little art projects "
