Snotlout x reader

I lay her gently in the bed and grab her blanket. She trashed around the bed, like a toddler who doesn't wanna go to bed.
-Nooooooo, I don't wanna sleep! She says and I sit down on the bedside with a huff. I put my face in the hand that I hold the blanket with. She grabs that arm and shake it lightly.
-Can't you sing for me? She asks and pouts. I chuckle and shake my head.
-I'm not singing, I say and takes her hand off my arm.
-Then Tell me a story, she says.
-Will you let me tuck you in if I do? I ask. She nods and smiles. I turns so that I can tuck her in, she makes herself comfortable and I sigh.
-Ok, I say, bracing myself for the embarrassment I'm putting myself into, if she remembers this....
-Once upon a time... there was a little girl in the village, I say eyeing her to see if she likes it. She nods and lays her head so that she can see me.
-And she lived in an orphanage, I continue (I bet y'all can see where this is going ;).
-And one day, the queen and king of the village came to the orphanage and wanted to adopt. And they chose the little girl, I say. She smiles and her eyes twinkle.
-On the carriage ride to the castle, she cannot believe this opportunity. There's so much to learn and see! I say, making gestures with my hands.
-I'm the castle, there's a school for royalty, where she meets new friends. She gets crowned a princess and when she grows up, she learns about the rights and wrongs of a queen. And she grows up... I say and look to Y/N.
-To be the greatest queen of all, I finish. She giggles.
-That's the best story ever! Again! She says and I chuckle.
-No... it's time for you to sleep, I say.
-But I'm not even..... tired, Y/N says, and breaks for a yawn. She closes her eyes and almost falls asleep immediately. I nod and stand up, beginning to walk out.

-Snotlout...? Please stay? I hear Y/Ns tired voice. I stop in my tracks and look back. She makes grabby-hands at me and I walk back.
-I can't... I say and grab one of her hands in mine.
-Please? I don't wanna be alone, she says.
-You've always been the best at protecting me from stuff... she continues. I stare in shock at her. Did she really just...? Nooooo......
Well... I guess sober thoughts are drunken truths....
-Yeah? I ask and smile a bit to myself. She nods. And smiles.
-Yeah... And I always love how you always stand in front of me to protect me from the dragon hunters. Or how you're really passionate how much you want to go out with me, she laughs and looks at me. I smile down at her.
-I love how you really try... I just want you to stop all that. Not to treat me like a girl anymore, I wanna be treated like the woman I am, she confesses and stares seriously at me.
-Can you do that for me...? She asks. I nod.
-Yeah... yeah, I can do that, I say. I'm probably just promising some drunk blabber... but if it's the best I can get, I'm gonna take it...
-Good... Y/N says and yawns and turns around.
-Now Goodnight Snotlout, she says and falls asleep immediately.
-Yeah... Goodnight Y/N, I say sadly and turn for the stairs again.

I get two steps down, before turning back around. I walk up to the bed and I see Y/N peacefully sleep. I sigh and bend down and kiss her forehead.
-Sleep well, Y/N, I say, before I finally turn and leave.

The next morning:

I'm sitting with the gang, everyone's pretty tired after yesterday's festivities. I'm eating breakfast and drinking some water and laughing at a bad joke.

Suddenly, the door slams open.
-Snotlout Jorgensen! I hear Y/N's angry voice.
-Oh uh... you're in trouble, Tuffnut tells me as Y/N walks closer to me. She looks absolutely furious.
-H-hi, I say, pretty terrified.
She grabs me by the tip of my ear and pulls me up.
-Ow! Ow, ow, ow! I chant as she makes me stand up and she pulls me after her.
She pulls me outside and to the side of the hall, and releases me.
-What did I tell you!? She demands angrily. I drago my ear in pain.
-What? I ask and bend over.
-Yesterday night!? What. Did I. Tell you!? She asks. I stand up. Releasing my ear and she glares at me with a red face. I don't answer for a while, since I don't know how to not anger her further with the information she's asking for.

-Enough, I say and swallow thickly. Y/N groans and puts her face in her hands.
-I didn't need this now! She says, muffled.
I can only look at her as she curses herself for her stupidity. She blames herself and I feel the guilt wash over me. Maybe I should've left. Maybe I should've said something to make her stop... so she wouldn't blame herself for letting herself go for one night.

Then she just stops, and looks at me. I freeze up as she walks towards me with brisk steps. I fear that she's going to punch me, but I accept it like a real man!
But she grabs the collar of my shirt and quickly presses our lips together. I struggle in what to do with my hands, but I smile into the kiss.
When she pulls away, I see that she's very pink on her cheeks and I smile goofily. I just got a kiss from the girl of my dreams!!!
She smiles slightly.
-You're my boyfriend now, she says, and I nod a bit.
-I see that you have no objections? She says. I shake my head. She nods and giggles a bit. Then she looks at my eyes again.
-Stop smiling like that, you look like an idiot, she says and walks past me, back to the hall. She drops her smile as she turns the corner.
Aaaaand she's back! I follow her quickly, my smile never fading.

She is already inside when I get there. She sits down and glances at me from her seat. I put one fiat in the air and the gang looks at me.
-I got her! I got the girl of my dreams! Now look who's laughing! Haha! I say proudly as Y/N's face turns red. The gang looks at her in surprise. Everyone except Astrid.
-Snotlout... Y/N says menacingly quiet, and stands up.
-I. Will. KILL YOU! She says and runs towards me. I Yelp, before running away. She catches up quick though and trips me, before pounding her fists weakly on my face, and harshly on my chest. I escape quickly and look at the guys from above a table.
-See? Got her! I say, before Y/N pounces on me again.

And I'd have it no other way....
