"I'll take that as a yes." Tyler clapped his hands and screamed "Woooh!!!"

Jace frowned. "Why can't I call you that."

Delilah looked at Jace who actually looked a little hurt. Poor boy probably has never been rejected in his life. Delilah almost scoffed at that.

"You never asked."

It was Jace's time to scoff now. "It's cool, because I don't need to ask. I can call you whatever I want."

"You are too much." Delilah shook her head at him and turned to the window secretly smiling. Deep inside, she knew she wouldn't care whatever Jace called her. Some part of her actually craved for it, but she'd never admit that.

That day, they had New York pizza, New York cheesecake, everything New York, visited the Empire State building, statue of liberty, and Central Park. It was now night time and as everyone was going to retire for the day, Jace held Delilah back. Everyone had already seen the skyline but Delilah, and he was not going to let her miss it.

"Where are we going?"

"Won't you just follow quietly."

"I want to know, where I'm going." Delilah grumbled out.

"You'll know soon enough."

Delilah saw that they were getting on the elevator. "Are we going to see the skyline."

Jace playfully rolled his eyes at her and leaned against one of the elevator wall. "Can't you pretend you don't know where we're going."

"Can't you do better at not making it so obvious."

Jace chuckled, "Why is it that you object everything I say."

He was staring a little too intensely at Delilah and not being able to take it anymore, she turned away from his smoldering grey eyes, which made him laugh even more.

"Are you blushing over there?"

Delilah didn't reply and blushed even harder, hoping he wouldn't be able to see her face.

"Oh, come on, let me see." Jace shoved off of the wall smiling and walked over to Delilah who heard him coming towards her and tried to move as far as she could, but not fast enough as Jace caught her arm and quickly turned her around catching her by the waist.

Nothing about this situation was appropriate Delilah thought. His arm was currently holding onto her waist and the other was on her arm while her own were on his very muscular chest. She looked up and saw that Jace was already looking down at her smiling which made her blush even harder. Delilah was sure she was as red as a fire truck by now.

Suddenly Jace stared bursting out laughing as if he couldn't hold it in anymore in which she shoved him off her and as the elevator door finally opened, Delilah got off.

As Delilah looked at the view, she instantly forgot about everything. It was too captivating for her to think about anything else.

When Jace finally sobered up, he walked up beside Delilah who had her hands on the rails looking ahead of her.

"It's beautiful isn't it?"

Delilah nodded in agreement. "How come no one's up here?"

Jace looked amused at how clueless Delilah was. It was refreshing to him. "It's one of my family's hotel here in New York. This is one of best view of New York and only certain people can come up."

Jace wanted to see how she'd react to that. He was expecting her jaw to drop, but all she did was say, "Oh." Huh. Jace thought she was a strange one.
