“That doesn't even make sense dad.” I laughed.
“Speaking of your boyfriend,” My mom said. “Where is he?”
“Sleeping, we fell asleep on the bean bags last night. He uh… he told me he loves me.” My moms eyes went wide and she squealed.
“Did you say it back? How did he tell you?” She grabbed my arm and squeezed it.
“He told my smile is his favourite thing in the world and that my eyes shine brighter then any night sky he’s ever seen.” She smiled and removed her hand off my arm and put in on her chest. “He said my laugh is his favourite sound.”
“He must be deaf.” My dad said making me roll my eyes.
“Then he told me he loved me. He didn't want me to say anything back, he just wanted me to know.”
“Aweee Hailey!” My mom cupped her cheeks. “What did you say back?”
“I told him that I don’t know if I feel the same way because I’ve never felt love, I’ve made it up in my head and just wrote about it. But I told him I want to know what love is.”
“I wanna know what love is, I want you to show me.” My dad sang making me laugh.
“I sang that to him too…”
“Oh my god.” My dad said laughing. “Finally you found someone who loves how odd you are.”
“Well, mom married you so… I knew I’d have some luck.” He laughed. “Oh and guess what! He bought tickets to go see Kings Of Leon next week! He told me after we left last night.”
“He is a keeper.” My dad said. “Do you think he’d take me too?” I laughed.
“If I end up not being able to go you can go in my place.” He put a fist in the air and whispered a really epic ‘Yes!’
“You should go wake him up with some coffee.” My mom said. I turned around and saw she already had 2 cups off coffee ready for us.
“Thanks mom.”
“I put a little something in their for you guys.” She winked and I took the cups out of her hand.
“If that is viagra in there I am going to kill you.” My dad said making me burst out laughing.
“Mom please tell me you didn't put viagra in this coffee…”
“NO! Now go wake him up.” I walked out of the kitchen and back up to my room putting the coffees on the night stand and getting my computer out and opening iTunes finding S Club 7 and playing Bring it all back… once Calum and I confessed that we both love S Club 7. The music started playing.
