"Baby!" Hatsume cried.

Running over, another support course student cried, "Ah! Not again, Hatsume! Oh, where is the extinguisher. Ah! It's on fire now!"

As more smoke seeped from the robot, I grabbed ahold of Eri's hand once more and headed for the door. "We should probably go. Sorry Eri."

Despite the stressful situation, the silver-haired girl didn't seemed at all fazed, her ruby eyes just looking around in wonder. "Okay..." she mumbled as we exited the room.

Once Togata, Midoriya and I had lead Eri away from the flaming room, I breathed a sigh of relief. "Great. Now that that is out of the way, how about we go get some lunch, okay? I think we all need it after that."

"Sounds like a great idea, L/N," Togata said, holding his hand out to Eri. "Come on, Eri. You're gonna love Lunch Rush's gourmet food. It is simply the best. There's all kinds of stuff..."

I let go of Eri's other hand as Togata led her down the hallway towards the cafeteria, letting them walk a good distance ahead before following them. I smiled at the sight of Togata talking animatedly to Eri and her stare up at him wonder. The two had been through so much as of late - both broken in ways people simply couldn't just put them back together. But maybe they could. Together.

"You okay, L/N?"

Blinking out of my stupor, I realised that I'd stopped waking entirely, and that Midoriya was standing directly in front of me. "Sorry," I said, an embarrassed chuckle escaping my lips. "Guess I just got lost in space for a moment. Don't worry about me."

Midoriya's brow furrowed. "Are you sure. You've been pretty... I don't know, down since we saw Amajaki and Hado. I thought you'd be excited to see them."

"I was, I just-"

"Was it the talk about the beauty pageant? Does it make you uncomfortable? Oh man, I should've been more considerate before saying these things before. If you really wanted to do it, you would've signed up by now but you haven't so that means you don't and I-"

A soft giggle escaped me as I placed a steadying hand on Midoriya's shoulder, stopping him mid rant. "Please don't apologise. I should be sorry about going all weird on you guys back there. Believe me, it's nothing to worry about."

"But you know that we all meant what we said right? Entering the beauty pageant wouldn't be as bad as you might think it would be."

His insisting emerald eyes bored into mine and he made no attempt to look away. Figuring he was waiting for an answer, I just gave a simple nod and a sad smile. "I'll think about it, but I make no promises. We've got our performance to take care of, first."

Satisfied with my answer, Midoriya smiled and moved to stand beside me. "Right. We've gotta make our performance the best it can be."

"But we can't do that on an empty stomach, so let's go get some food."

"Right!"

Although we had to fight the ridiculously long line for Lunch Rush's special meal of the day, Midoriya and I eventually found Togata already sitting with Eri at a long table. Midoriya sat on the other side of Eri whilst I slid into a chair opposite the girl. Her head barely reached the top of the chair, and the big cup she was sipping out of only made her look even smaller. So. Freakin'. Cute.

"Well," Toagta started," that's pretty much all of UA."

"That's right," Midoriya added. "So, what do you think about our school, Eri?"

Letting her straw fall form her mouth, she simply stared at the cup as she mumbled, "I, um... I'm not sure."

Togata, Midoriya and I all sweat-dropped. After all that, she didn't have an opinion?
