As a suspected terrorist with possible powers, the young team of heroes are ordered to watch over her until further evidence could be found. But the longer they spend time with her, the more they don't believe the accusation. What happens when she meets someone new who catches her eye? What if she joins the team in hopes of healing her damaged soul? What happens when the team encounter people who Percy has managed to piss off during her months after the war? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. Of course, the small creature wearing a pillowcase was resolutely ignored and they went back to school to start their second year anyway. Then things started to go wonky, what with all the strange voices and massive spiders. But then things got even stranger.
