AlenaThe Parker boy is very difficult to find in a crowd of people who I can put money on them not knowing who he is.
I see Bronya get in a fight, and I almost know that someone is going to complain to the principal. But if they do Bronya obviously will get no punishment due to how she has him wrapped around her finger as planned.
I finally find Peter at his locker which conveniently is almost directly across from mine. So I come up with a plan in my head. I study my surroundings.
He is wearing headphones and seems to be completely unaware of how just down the hall people are shouting that someone had managed to get Brandy to basically go out with them. That can be useful later.
As Peter opens up his locker I turn around and almost immediately regret it. I had planned on just walking over to him and asking if he could help me out and show me around.
But that doesn't happen. There was someone who had walked right where my foot was lifting off the ground, tripping me. My books fly into the air as one flies far enough to hit Peter right in the knee. He winces more than he should've, and I note it is possibly from a fight as Spider-Man.
"I'm so sorry! I just tripped," I apologize to Peter as he bends down to help me pick everything up. That Canadian accent is a killer, but at least I get to sneak in some of my Russian one. I see him sneaking glances at the papers that flew out of the textbooks. They luckily are all in Russian. Only two other people I know can read it, and as I duck my head he doesn't think I can see as he folds one up, and pockets it.
"No, it's fine. I just have a bruise on my knee that's all. Well here you go," he responds quickly, notably having red ears and he avoiding making eye contact. Perfect.
There is a flash of hesitation on his face as if he is going to ask more. That would most likely be uncharacteristic if he is going to ask any more questions. But same with me, knowing the bare minimum is best unless it's detail briefings of a mission.
"Thank you for helping me. I am new here and I have had a rough day so far, so I hope it does not get any worse. So I will be on my way," I tell Peter hoping he would take the bait.
I start walking down the hall. "Wait!" Bite.
"Do you want this paper back? It fell out of your book, too, " Peter asks me.
It just so happens that's the paper he pocketed. "Oh! Yeah, thank you!" I tell Peter and take the paper back. We stand in silence for a second and I can tell Peter is trying to figure what to say. He shakes his hands, and then his head, before looking up.
"D-Do you need me to show you to your first class or something? Cuz, not-to-seem-weird... or anything but your schedule looked pretty similar to mine." I give him a puzzled look already knowing the answer. "It fell out when you dropped everything." I nod with a small smile placed on my face.
"I would like that. You really are a helper now are you not? From what I hear around here you could possibly be the Spiderman of Midtown High!" I say hoping I can get a reaction. He tenses when I mention Spiderman, and I smirk to myself about that.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just- oh no," he starts but he doesn't finish as he finds a face in the crowd. I follow his gaze infuriated that someone would distract him from me when I am getting information.
"PENIS PARKER! I never thought that you of all people would be seen next to an actual pretty girl," the boy says. His name is Eugene 'Flash' Thompson. From his way of talk, he hates Peter and doesn't respect women, as well as underestimates them. A terrible decision when there's at least three girl spies within 100 meters if him. I already hate him. He is just going to make this harder.
