"They wouldn't let you visit him? All because of some 'dangerous equipment'?" Liz asks. You were sitting in a small, aquatic-themed room in ALO. Asuna and Leafa had just come back from 'visiting' Kazuto at the hospital and was filling everyone in. "I don't know about everyone else, but that seems fishy to me."

"You're right," Asuna said. "Leafa and I thought that too, so we did some digging."

"The hospital records say that he's registered as a patient, but then I noticed something that didn't add up. The ambulance that was used to transport Kazuto didn't stop at the hospital."

"That doesn't make sense," Sinon said. "Did Kikuoka say anything about this?" You've had a run-in with Kikuoka before. A couple of days before the BoB, everyone was continuing to explore the new realm that was added in the Helheim update in ALO. He came up and started speaking to Kirito about some job offer. Of course, you knew what the job was now.

"Hello," Kikuoka said. "I don't believe we've met before." Kikuoka stretches out his hand. "Seijirō Kiuoka." You accept his handshake. 

"U/N."

"U/N." He repeated, trying to get it into his memory. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, U/N. I hope we meet again."

"He hasn't replied to any of my calls or emails. The ministry said he's been out since yesterday on 'business'." Asuna said

"That just sounds like an excuse to avoid you." You said. "He's definitely up to something."

"But the question is 'what?'" Sinon places her hand on her chin to think.  "I don't trust him. For all we know, he could be forcing Kirito into some weird VR experiment."

"That doesn't seem right." Silica interjected. "Kirito can't do anything when he's unconscious."

"Maybe he can. What if Kikuoka has one of those Soul Translators? They won't need him to be awake to operate it."

"I'm lost. What's a Soul Translator?" Asuna asks. 

"It's a new type of full-dive technology that analyzes people's souls." You explain. "Some company called RATH is developing it."

"RATH? Those are the people Kazuto has been working for, right?" Leafa asks

"Yeah," Sinon confirms. "Did he tell you anything else about them?"

"He only said that they were based in Roppongi, nothing else."

"If that's where they are then that where we should start looking."

"Actually," Asuna interrupts. "I have another way to track Kirito's location."

"What's that?" Asuna swipes down her menu and opens an app to reveal a blackened out heart with the name 'Kazuto Kirigaya' above it.

"While Kirito was doing his full-dives, the nurses at RATH installed a chip into his chest that monitored his heartbeat and temperature. I Kirito if he could make an app for me so I can tell he's okay during his dives."

"That's..." You begin.

"...A little creepy." Liz finishes. 

Asuna continues. "I lost the signal to him a while ago. But I have Yui tracing his last known location. Yui? You there?"

"Yes!" You hear. You see a Yui enter into the room in her small, fairy state. "I've just finished analyzing all of the data. I'll track the from papa's biomonitor now." A small map of Tokyo appears on the screen, along with a small, red arrow. "This one is the place where papa started, Setagaya General Hospital." Another arrow appeared on the map. "This one is the first location papa's monitor pinged a cell tower, Aobadi Block-3, Meguro Ward. The timestamp was around 20:50 on June 29th, 2026. I'll now display papa's predicted route." A small green line started to form on the map. "The next time he pinged was here, Shirogane-dai Block-1, Minato Ward. at around 21:10 on the same day. And last, he pinged again at Kaigan Block-2, Minato Ward at 21:20. That's all of the information I have. I couldn't find any further pings."
