"What do you mean you can't play?" It was 10 pm that same night and you were on the phone with Akira. "You made me play the game and you can't even join me?"
"Hey, it's not my fault!" Akira argued.
"What do you mean?! You just told me you can't play cause you didn't do your chores! You're 17 and you still can't do chores?"
"Alright, I get it! Just hang out with that Klein guy we saw earlier. By the sound of it, he's got a good team."
"I've already found someone to train me, actually."
"Really, now? What's their name?"
"Sinon."

"Did you just say Sinon!?" Akira boomed on the other side of the line.
"Yeah, why?" You asked, confused.
"Does she use a sniper?"
"Uhuh."
"Turquoise hair?"
"Yes... Did I do something wrong?"
"Far from it! You just got the best sniper in GGO to train you! And she's cute!"
"Best sniper? You're pulling my leg. There's no way that - with my horrible luck - I found the top GGO sniper to train me on my first day."
"Well then, I guess you're lucks turning around 'cause I'm not joking."

Still not believing Akira's words completely, you sigh and think it over audibly out loud. "If Sinon is GGO's best sniper then what was she doing at the shooting gallery? She said she was 'bored' earlier, so if that's the case then the amount of coincidences that must have happened for both me and Sinon being there at the same time, and you getting booted out... It's basically 0."

"Maybe you're luck isn't as bad as you thought? I don't know. What I do know is you're gonna train under GGO's best sniper. That means you'll be a top player in no time!"
"You're right! Passing you will be a cinch!"
"In your dreams, maybe." Akira scoffed.

"Speaking of dreams, I'm going to go and sleep now. We've got school tomorrow. And exam results are also coming out tomorrow, as well.
"Please, don't remind me. I just barely scraped by."
"And whose fault is that? You should study more."
"Shut up..."

It's 7:20 am the next day and you were walking down the path you always take getting to the train on your way to school. You take a look around and see many people starting their day like you're starting yours. You see some students walking to school a distance in front of you, many adults getting into their cars and heading to work, people tidying their house and gardens, and many more activities the individuals around you are partaking in.

While strolling to the station you see a girl, around your age, with dark hair and glasses in an alley speaking with two men taller and bulkier than you. After spectating the group for a while, you see the girl trying to walk away but one of the men - he wore a red t-shirt, navy skinny jeans, and was lacking in hair - grab the girl by the shoulder. You take a glance at your watch. 7:24 am. If I help her now, I should be able to make it if I run to the station. After sighing, you walk towards the two men and the girl.

The other man - he wore a dark jacket, brown shorts, and had long black hair - was speaking to the girl. You were just close enough that you could hear the conversation.

"C'mon, pretty lady, just take a walk with us for a while. What's the harm?" The bald man asked.
"Like I said, I'm going to miss school. Can I please go now? The trains going to leave..." The girl pleaded.
"Nuh-uh. You're staying with us. Now, how about you come to our place, huh?" The other man responded.

"I wouldn't if I were you." You came up to the two men with your phone in your hand, shaking it in front of them. "I just caught this entire conversation on my phone. So you better walk away or else I turn this in to the police."
"And who, pray tell, might you be?" The bald one asked.
"Does it matter? Either way, if you don't leave you will get reported. You wouldn't want that now, would you?"

The black-haired one came at you, raising his fist. "I'm going to have to stop you right there. As you can probably see, just outside this alley there are witnesses everywhere. It would be pretty easy for either me or this lady hear to scream and attract everyone's attention. That will be even worse than me handing this phone in. Caught red-handed, beating up a young 17-year-old and trying to abduct this lady here." The man grunted and lowered his fist. He turned on his heels and walked out of the alley, the bald man in pursuit.
