You met up with Shino not too long ago. You were both on your way to the hospital Kazuto, Asuna, and Suguha were being held.

"This is the place," Shino said. You read the sign above the entrance.
"Tokorozawa National Defense Medical College Hospital. That's a long name,"
"Shall we go in?" Shino enters the building and you follow close behind.

"Hello!" The receptionist greets us. "How may we help you today?" She asks politely.
"We're looking for Kazuto Kirigaya, Suguha Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki." Shino explained. "What floor would they be on?"
"Just a moment," She taps a few keys on her keyboard before turning back to face us. "They're all on the seventh floor. Mr Kirigaya is in room 14, Ms Kirigaya is in room 15, and Ms Yuuki is in room 16."
"Thank you," You reach the elevator and tap the button for the seventh floor.

You reach room 14 and knock on the door. "Come in." A voice you hadn't heard in a while had spoken. Shino opens the door and you both enter the room. "Hey, you two!" Kazuto smiles. "Congratulations on getting together! Klein stopped by earlier and told me. To be honest, he said that he was annoyed that someone who had only recently joined our group got a girlfriend before him."
"That sounds like Klein, all right." You chuckle, face slightly red.

Shino set a small flower bouquet on the small stand next to Kazuto's bed. You both had bought on your way to the hospital.
"Thanks," Kazuto said. "It sounds like I missed a lot while I was out. Yuuki recovered, Akira also got a girlfriend, Eugeo and Alice fighting alongside you VR. What hasn't happened?"
"How've you been?" Shino changes the topic. "Y'know, considering you were in another world for two hundred years." Kazuto falls silent.
"I... I told Kikuoka to wipe my memories of the last two hundred years. The last thing I remember is logging Alice and Eugeo out." An uncomfortable silence falls across the room.

"What about you two?" Kazuto said. "How have you been?"
"We've been great," Shino says. "Although there's been a weird atmosphere since you left. No one mentioned it, but I know everyone felt it."

"There's something I'd like to ask," You said.
"What is it?" Kazuto inquired.
"I ran into someone not too long ago. They seemed to know you. They even knew that you entered the Underworld."
"Huh. Did you see their face?"
"No, unfortunately not. And besides, this was in ALO. They might have had a different face in-game compared to real life."
"Sorry, there's not much I can do. If you find something else out then please tell me."

"Have you spoken to the other two yet?" Kazuto asks.
"Not yet," You reply.
From what I hear, they're both being released today. Because they didn't get injected with the same drug I did, they don't need to be held here any longer. I, on the other hand, have to stay here for another week."
"I hope you get better soon," Shino said.
"I'll certainly try."
"We'll come by to visit any time we can," You reassure.
"Thanks,"

The conversation lasts another ten minutes before you get up to leave.
"It's about time to go," Shino said. "We still need to see the other two,"
"Thanks for coming in," Kazuto waved as you both left the room.

You stay in the hospital for another hour before you and Shino decide it's time to head back. You thank the receptionist and exit the building.
"Thank goodness they've woken up," Shino lets out a long sigh. "I was so anxious; wondering if they ever would." Shino stops walking. You do the same. "I was so scared. I owe Kirito so much." Shino's voice croaks as she begins to break down into tears. "I don't know what I would do if he... died... He's the reason I'm still alive." She leans on you and sobs into your shoulder. "He's the reason I met you." You say nothing. You let her release all of her built-up fears and anxiety. You can only comfort her.
