Sophie, Biana, and Maruca stared at the screen, wide-eyed and mouth agape. Dex and Jensi just grinned at the screen, watching their characters do a victory dance.

"Well," Dex said with a grin after a long stretch of silence. "That was fun. Who wants to play again?"

"No thank you," Sophie said, shaking her head. "Why don't we do something else?"

"How about we play hide-and-seek?" Maruca suggested, cocking her head to the side.

Biana grinned. "That's a great idea!" She started reciting the eenie-meenie-miney-mo thing and landed on Sophie. "Well, looks like you have to seek Miss Foster."

Sophie rolled her eyes but nodded and buried her face in Biana's pillow. "One...two...three..."

She continued to count until she reached one-hundred. She got up from Biana's bed, yelled, "Ready or not, here I come!" and then ran through the house.

The first place she looked was under the kitchen sink and, sure enough, Jensi was rolled into a ball in the small space.

"Found you," She said, helping him out. "Now, do you know where anyone else is?"

"Maruca stayed upstairs," Jensi said, nodding. "And I think Biana went outside—Dex is on this level though."

Sophie nodded before she ran back up the stairs, Jensi trailing behind. They searched through Biana's room, Fitz's room, and the other three guest bedrooms on that floor. When they couldn't find Maruca, they made their way to the bathroom at the end of the hall and looked under the sink.

"She's not there," Sophie pouted, tapping her foot against the floor. "Are you sure she stayed upstairs?"

Jensi motioned to the shower behind them, and Sophie noticed an outline of a shadow on the shower curtain. Sophie nodded before walking over and pushing the curtain away, grinning as she found Maruca sitting in the tub.

"Found you too," Sophie said, holding out her hand to help Maruca out.

"Don't ask me any questions," Maruca held up her hands as they made their way downstairs. "Because I have no idea where anyone hid."

Sophie nodded and told them to spread out around the first floor, searching for Dex. Sophie checked the washing machine, the drier, behind curtains, and under the dining room table—she couldn't find him anywhere.

Sophie walked into the living room, looking around. Alden and Della were watching TV in their recliners, blankets were folded in the corner of the room, the curtains near the windows were billowing...

Sophie's eyes went back to the blankets. She ran over and noticed that one of them wasn't as nicely folded as the others. She picked up the blanket and found Dex, curled into the ball.

"You have been found," Sophie said with a laugh as Dex got up off the ground. "Guys!" She called. "I found Dex!"

"Am I the last one?" He asked as they walked out of the living room.

"Nope," Sophie shook her head. "We still have to find Biana."

"I saw her go outside," Dex said. "I'm pretty sure she hid in the backyard."

Sophie groaned. "The backyard is ginormous."

"I know," Dex said as the four of them made their way outside. "But if we split up, we'll cover a lot more ground. How about we split into groups?"

Sophie nodded. "Maruca and I, and you and Jensi."

The four of them agreed before they split up, searching for Biana.

"Look in the trees," Maruca told Sophie as they walked around. "She used to climb trees to hide all the time when we were little."

Sophie nodded, looking at all of the trees, trying to spot Biana. She'd been wearing bright pink and white right before the game had started, so she shouldn't have been too hard to spot.

After a few minutes of looking Sophie sighed. "I don't think she's in the trees,"

"Yeah," Maruca agreed. "Why don't we go look near the lake?"

Sophie nodded and they both made their way over to the dock. They walked down it a few times, looking around for Biana, but they couldn't find her anywhere.

"Guys!"

Sophie and Maruca turned around to see Dex and Jensi running towards them.

"What?" Sophie asked. "Did you guys find her?"

"Nope," Dex said. "But I think she might—"

Dex stopped in his tracks, peering at the lake.

"What?" Sophie asked again. "Where do you think she might be?"

Dex cleared his throat before pointing to the water under the dock a few times. Soon, Jensi's eyes became wide and he grinned, pointing along with Dex.

Sophie blinked before looking in between the cracks of dock. It was kind of dark, but Sophie did see that there was a little bit of pink floating in the water.

Sophie nodded, motioning for Dex and Jensi to walk over onto the dock. Then, she got Maruca to go to the other side of the dock. Lastly, she went to the side of the dock Biana was closest to and submerged herself into the water.

Sophie was super thankful that it was summertime, so the cold water wasn't that bad. She swam under the dock and swam a little farther until she saw Biana, floating there.

Sophie smiled, putting her hand on Biana's shoulder and saying, "Found you,"
