"I can't believe we're graduating!" Biana shrieked as she, Sophie, and Maruca all got dressed at the Vacker's house.
"It is pretty crazy," Maruca said as she put on some lipstick. "It only feels like yesterday when we were just Freshmen."
"It really does though," Biana agreed, spinning in her pink cocktail dress. "Like, I look at myself in the mirror," Biana walked over to her full-body mirror and started posing. "And I still see little fourteen-year-old me taking an algebra one class."
"Well, how about you stop looking at yourself in the mirror and finish getting ready?" Sophie said with a laugh from where she was sitting on Biana's bed. "I've been ready for ten minutes."
"Calm down," Biana said. "I just have to put my shoes on—and all Maruca's doing in touching up her make-up." Biana grabbed some pink heels from the floor and slipped them on. "See, I'm all done."
"Me too," Maruca took one last look at herself before getting up.
"Alright, lets head to the school," Sophie said.
The three of them made their way out of the house and to their cars, driving to the school and meeting the rest of the Seniors in the atrium.
"Finally, you guys are here." Dex said as all five of them came to a group. "What took you so long?"
"Them." Sophie pointed to Biana and Maruca while Biana said, "Sophie's attitude."
"Um...okay." Dex said. "Well, in a minute they're going to have us change into our cap and gowns. Then, they'll go over the plan, and then we'll head out there."
Sophie nodded and the five of them talked for about five minutes before Mr. Leto came out onto the stage and said, "It's time for everyone to start changing into their cap and gowns. Please be mindful that there are other people that need to change too, so do not take forever in the bathroom."
Everyone started heading to the bathrooms and lockers rooms, and thankfully, Sophie was one of the first people in the stalls.
She put her black gown over her lavender purple dress, and then she put her cap with the two orange and while tassels atop her head. She took a quick look at herself in the mirror before heading back out to the atrium.
After a few minutes of waiting, the five of them met back up and were now all matching. Sophie's eyes suddenly got very teary as she realized that they were actually graduating.
"So, is your speech all ready?" Jensi asked.
Sophie nodded. "I mean, I'm probably just going to cry up there anyway."
"Don't worry, I'll be crying with you." Dex said with a laugh.
"Me too," Biana said, her eyes getting watery. "See? I'm starting to cry now."
Sophie pulled all of her friends in a comforting hug, but it was short-lived because Mr. Leto came back on stage and told everyone that they needed to head behind the stage.
"Are you guys ready for this?" Sophie asked her friends as they all started walking.
They all nodded and said, "Yes."

"Jensi Babblos," Mr. Leto announced, causing Jensi to stand. "Jensi is majoring in songwriting to become a songwriter. He has been accepted to the University of California."
The crowd cheered super loud, and Sophie thought she'd heard someone say, "That's my brother!" but she wasn't completely sure.
Jensi got his diploma, shook Mr. Leto's hand and stopped for a picture before walking back to his seat.
