When Sophie woke up that morning, she had a few notifications and a text from Keefe.

She swiped through the notifications to make sure they weren't anything important before looking at Keefe's message.

It said: Guess where I'm at... And then there was a selfie of him and Dex.

Sophie's eyes widened and she called him, hoping he wasn't just joking with her.

"Hey Foster," Keefe's voice said through the phone after all the ringing. "Good morning,"

"Hey," Sophie said. "Are you here? At Dex's house?"

"Yep," Keefe said with a laugh. "I got here late last night and decided to go straight to Dex's house since you all were coming over today anyway. Let's just say the Dizznee's were not too happy that I woke them from their beauty sleep."

Sophie grinned. "That's great. Is Fitz with you?"

"No, but he should be coming today," Keefe said. "At least, that's what he said."

Sophie nodded. "Well, thank you for tell me. I'll see you this afternoon."

"See you this afternoon," Keefe repeated before Sophie hung up.

Sophie set her phone down and stretched her arms before getting out of bed. She fed Iggy, brushed her teeth, and then headed downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Good morning," Grady said after Sophie had walked in the kitchen. He was fixing some bacon and grits—and that confused Sophie.

"Good morning...?" Sophie said, sitting down at the barstool. "Where's Edaline? Why're you cooking?"

Grady laughed. "You do know that I can cook too, right?"

Sophie blinked. "You can?"

Grady laughed once again. "Wow, that's harsh."

"I didn't mean it like that," Sophie said with a small laugh. "I meant; I've never seen you cook by yourself before. Usually, it's just Edaline, or you guys are cooking together."

Grady shrugged. "You're not wrong, but I can cook. I just don't do it all the time because your mom is so much better at it than me."

Sophie nodded and Grady put the food on at plate and handed it to her. "Bon appetite,"

Sophie took a bite of the food and was amazed to find out that is was actually really good. "Wow,"

"You like it?" Grady asked, fixing himself a plate.

Sophie nodded. "Yeah, I'm shocked."

Grady laughed and shook his head before coming around and sitting down next to her. "So, are you all packed for later?"

"Yep." Sophie nodded. "Merry Christmas Eve, by the way."

Grady smiled. "Merry Christmas Eve to you too,"

As Sophie walked into the Dizznee's house, she heard three recognizable voices singing, "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas..."

The singing was absolutely beautiful, and their harmonies were on point.

When Sophie turned the corner, she saw Biana, Keefe, and Fitz sitting on a couch together, singing, as the Dizznee's listened in amazement.

Sophie leaned against the threshold of the archway, listening to them finish their song. She didn't want the attention to be turned away from the singing.
