Meghans pov

as soon as I hear the bell go off I run as fast as I can to my car and I go to the back of my car to the trunk and pull out my turn out gear and put it on because this is probably going to be a big one because this is the warehouse my men and women almost didn't make it out of. I got into the car and put the lights and sirens on my car. one the way there I kept thinking about what happened to me and my team.

ambo 35, truck 69, Battalion 41, warehouse fire 1825 rivers street.

on scene I started calling orders. "Ross, Riley. your on vent. Michael, Ezekiel, your with me mask up we are going in."

once we go in. I had to call for back up after being told we had a vent and thats when our chef and other trucks arrived. I was bring out a Survivor and I was changing my tank so I could go back in when chef came over to me and I said. "chef, has anyone from my truck come back out yet?"

"no Natalie, but you can't go back in I am pulling everyone out 'this is chef 25 to all companies pull back, I repeat pull back'".

I hear him say I re-put my mask on and I run in ignoring my chef calling out for me it toke me about 10 minutes to start heading in the direction me and my team members spilt up in so I started to go that way when some debris thousand fire fell on me and started to burn me but I just got the fire out and kept going and after 5 more minutes go by and I find then

"you guys okay.?" I said"

we are good we need to get out of here." ross said

"okay make a train line and follow me and I can get us out of here." I said. and I lead them back out.

flashback over

after I get out at the scene I get out and walk up to the chef

"chef what do we got." I ask him.

"there are 2 people in the office area. just bring to get the blueprints now." he said.

"we have no time I can go I know where to go." I told him.

"chef it a maze in here I have been here before and I have been here with smoke its like wearing a black out mask." I told him

"okay, Casey" he said.

"you and Natalie are going in get hooked up before you go in."

after he said that me and Casey hurried to get hooked up and then I turned to him and said "you ready." he nod and I started walking.

I got inside and remembered that the office was in the back coroner and I found the check point and in the my pocket I keep chalk so toke it out and on the ground I marked A1 and got up and kept walking.

when Casey behind me said "Meghan what did you just do." he said

"Don't worry it's just chalk and it's so we know where we are let keep going the office is in there."

We kept walking after a couple of minutes I marked A2 which was right in-front of the office. and then we walk in the office and we see the victims and me and Casey grabbed them I put the other male over my shoulder and case lead the way back out and I said "we are almost there."

keep going just look for the markings. after we kept going and after a couple of minutes after we are out we walk over to different ambos and I sat the person down and toke of my mask and toke of my gear and sat down on the curb and turned off my tank while other firefighters are putting out the fire. and I toke off my gloves and went to my car grabbed water bottles and went over to Casey and tapped his shoulder and he turned around.

"here you go. good job in there by the way."

"thanks and nice job to." I smiled slightly and and turned around and walked over to chef and said "chef I will see you and your men back at the house."

He nodded and I walked back to my car and got in on the way back the the fire house I went and stopped by the grave yard where I see Henry mills grave and I sat next to it for a minute and I told him about the call we just went on and then I said I had to go and I also told him about his son and how his son was and the I said good bye and left.

as soon as I get back I wait a moment before I get back and when I walk in and go to the common room to grab some water and then I go to leave when I heard someone say "Natalie can I ask you something." I turn around to see its Casey.

" go ahead."

"just wounding how did you know where to go to because it was completely blacked out and it was a maze." he said.

"been there before." he nods and I got do my paper work about the call and then I go and hang out and ask if they are doing drills and Casey said yes and he called everyone out and started to do filling and I showed them some new techniques and strategies to use out on the filed and then we got called for a another fire and we had a couple more calls and then. shift was over.
