today was my first day back after I got suspended, once I walked in I took a bee line to the locker room. and went and to the conference room for our daily briefing of what happened between last shift and about this starting shift.
once I got into the room it looked like we were just waiting on chef, I told myself that this shift to keep my head down and try to stay away from Natalie this shift and all will be good. once chef walked in he had a upset look on his face.
"okay so I would like to let you all know that Megan is leaving and someone else will be coming and taking her place here to finish off the inspection for the next couple weeks." chef said in a disappointing tone. 'NO!' I heard everyone yell.
Silvie rased her hand "please tell me that she will be at least coming back to do the EMS inspection for us next month." she said hopeful
"she dose not know only time will tell on if she will come back or not but besides that her replacement will be here later today." chef said back to all of us.
"so who ever come to us to for the next couple of weeks let make them feel comfortable here please."
"chef did she give you a reasoning on why she left?" I asked
"no she did not." he said. "she will be missed here, I know that we have all started to grow close to her and lets hope that she will be here next month."

today a lot of people have been trying to figure out why she just up and left with out saying anything. but the truth is I have been wounding if it is because of me...
chef just told us that the replacement in supposed to be here in a couple of minutes.
I was up making lunch for the house when I looked up and saw a guy in a white shirt and I guessed that is her replacement. I see everyone stop and turn and of course it no one we want to see or want in the house... It's Gorsch
I know that Casey has a past with him but I dont know the full extent to what it was but what I have been told it nots pretty.
Casey pov
a little while ago we were just told us that Megan is not coming back to the firehouse, but she might be back. that dosent tell us anything. she might and now it even worst Gorsch is here. no no no why us out of all the people it him. I can feel my anger start boiling as I see him walk torwards chefs office. I hope he is not the person stepping in for Megan if it is I am going to have a problem with him here.
as I see gorsh towards the kitchen I can see him smirk as he walks past me and chief walks in.
"okay this is one of the Assistants to Deputy Commissioner Natalie, let give him a warm firehouse 51 welcome."
after he said that I went back my news paper and tried to ignore that he was going to be in the fire house. every once in a while I would peak up looking.
I decided instead after a while of sitting here and peaking up every once in a while I needed to go do paper work before I could even get to me office the bells rang
"Truck 81 Engine 51, residence house 1449 hick street." The announcements projected over the firehouse.
I jog out the door and to the truck I get on my gear and then get it the truck as we are on our way I noticed that gorsh is following us to the scene.
Once we got there I noticed that the smoke was turning colors quicker then normal I started to call orders but then...
"Don't you need to do a search first?" Gorsh butted in.
"No the owners are the only ones, we already talked to them." I said back still trying to stay focused on what's happening now.
That's how it went back talking during calls and on shift not only did it happen to me but also sevride, he kept questioning every little move we make, we need Natalie back soon.
I was walking into the common room when gorsh was walking out, when he said the stupidest thing ever. "Matt by the way how's your mom doing?"
Everyone stopped when turned to see what happens, I froze and just looked a him for a good second.
"Do you want to get punched again. You know you were the first and last to ever say anything about my family." I said getting in his face.
"I was just being friendly asking how's your mom doing." He in snarky tone.
"You so lucky-" I started to say but got off by chief.
"What the hell is going on here." He said.
"I just asked how his mom was." He said
"How about I ask you this question how did you even get this job?" I asked trying to get the question off my mom.
"That's for me to know, what do you suddenly regret hit a fellow class mate?" He asked, after he asked that all I could do was snicker at his comment
"Regret it as I told you before you were the first and person to ever talk about my family and the last." I said getting closer and closer to his face.
