When an unexpected visitor comes

today is the day that mills is back at shift and the first time I will see him after me telling him I am his sister... its still hard for me to accept that I told him. But I decided that after trying to reach back out to him and him not responding to me I decided it would be best to have some one else come finish off the firefighter portion. thats going on...

I walked up the drive way and made my way into the hallway and walked towards the chefs office... I knocked and heard a 'come in'...

"Meghan what can I help you with?" he asked me taking off his glass and sitting them on his desk.

"well chef I would just like to let you know that I have decided to have someone else come in and fill in my position in watching over the firehouse, I just came to collect my stuff.." I told him a clam voice.

he looked at me understandably and and shocked, he just looked at me and nodded.

"I might be back for the EMS part of it, only time will tell you." I told him keeping my voice steady.

he stood up and put out his hand for me to shake...

"it has been a pleasure to work with you and I hope you come back in soon." he said to me and I thanked him and walked out too claim my items and on my way out, some people caught me but I quickly said bye to them and hoped in my car and drove back to the Ivory tower to go back to my job there...

But little did I know what was to come next in my life....
