Tried of the bullshit that is exile, Tommy sets out to find someplace to start anew; after all, as long as he doesn't step foot in L'Manburg or Dream SMP, Tommy can go anywhere.

And boy, was there much more to...

•CHAPTER FIVE•
| Unexpected Find |
In a bout of boredem after having completed his tasks set by Y/N, Tommy took to exploring the area in more depth like he had been wanting. His feet dragged him to Y/N's mine; the beam of magenta that erupted from the earth as a result of the beacon had pipped his interest.
L'Manburg's mine had been half hazardous with no real coordination. Pogtopia was much more ordered as a result of Technoblade's hyper fixation--he could spend days at a time in the mine. Tommy had no idea how he does it.
Closing the door behind him, he sat on the ledge to scoot himself around to use the ladder. it went far down and the entire shaft was made with dark oak supports. The lanterns that were hung intermittently between the support beams offered just the right amount of light to safely descend. It was a multi-storey mine, but Tommy ignored all other floors of the mine and just went all the way to the obsidian floor.
Skipping the last few steps, Tommy dropped out, pausing when the sound echoed just the slightest bit, prompting him to turn around.
The main room was square with the other four sides branching outwards. They went on for quite far, some serious dedication. Y/N had taken great care to make it look aesthetically appealing too, the support beamings reaching all the way down as far as he could see on each direction. He admired the architecture in appreciation. Y/N's mine was well excavated and even signed, she had named each branch she had mined out. He spotted a lectern with a book. Opening it, he read dates and branch names along with ores she had found in each.
Talk about organisation, he blinked, she's worse than Techno. But he supposed this was a home, not just some ravine to hide in.
Although Tommy had already guessed Y/N to be an organised person from what he had seen of her home already but come on, this woman was crazy about keeping track of minor things, yet she had fallen behind on preparing for winter?
Tommy snorted with laughter, remembering her sheepishly expression when she had told him.
She had shrugged and said, "It happens sometimes." Which it did, he guessed.
He glanced left, forward and right as those were all the directions she had mined in. It went on for a while. His feet took him left, this seemed to be the way she mined first, the branch names all numbered from one upwards.
