So, I have a dilemma I have two great actresses that I think would make a magnificent lady Prudence. The first one is Eva Green. (please see the picture on the previous chapter) The above picture is of my other choice. Katie McGrath. Both actresses have the look and talent. Which would you choose?
Crystal's POV:
I grew very nervous as she turned my way. Doing my very best to remain calm and to only appear curious as she looked upon me in open disdain.
Prudence: What are you looking at?
Crystal: I was simply concerned... You took a rather dangerous fall.
She seemed taken aback by my concern. She shifted uncomfortably under my scrutiny; but recovered quickly. Just as I was giving myself an inner sigh of relief.
Prudence: Well it is none of your concern now is it? You should be more concerned about yourself.
Crystal: I suppose you are right. Unfortunately I cannot seem to help myself. My parents raised me to care about the world around me and the people in it.
Prudence: You don't need to worry about me... I will be fine.
Crystal: I certainly hope so. We would not want anyone harmed in anyway... May I ask you something?
Prudence (clearly irritated): What is it?
Crystal: Why is such I fine young lady riding alone?
Prudence: That is none of your business.
Crystal: I mean no disrespect. It is just that... Usually someone of your status would be constantly surrounded by chaperones and I was wondering if the lord of this manor should be sending someone to advise them of your situation. After all we would not want those who care for you to become unnecessarily worried.
Before Prudence could answer Jay/Milord/Sir Johnathan Arthur returned to the room. He did not even look my way. He rushed to her side and took her hand in his. He looked adoringly at her.
Jay/Milord/Sir Johnathan Arthur: How are you feeling? Does anything hurt?
Prudence (smiled/clearly pleased by his attentions): I am quite shaken... I fear that the shock has left me numb to any pain; but now that you are here I feel much safer.
Jay/Milord/Sir Johnathan Arthur: Is there anything that I can do to hasten your recovery while we wait for the good doctor to arrive?
Prudence: Just hold me. I find your touch comforting.
Jay/Milord/Sir Johnathan Arthur: It would be my pleasure my darling.
I watched the scene unfold in silence. While inside I screamed in frustration. I wanted to rush over there and get in between them. I wanted to shout that I know what you tried to do and you will not get away with it. There was nothing I could do; but suffer in silence while the man I loved wrapped his arms around another woman. Holding onto her as if she were the most precious and valuable thing in the world. Even though I new of the plan it was hard for my heart not to break. Wait... Did I just? Oh my lord I did. How is it possible? We only just met. I cannot be in love. It is too soon.
Jerry/Milord/Sir Galahad Arthur POV:
I quietly waited in the hall for my little brother. When he arrived I gestured for him to remain silent and follow me. We walked outside and towards the stables. Once we were far enough from the massive house I began filling him in on Kat's plan. As expected he was not happy with the plan and even turned around and began stomping his way back towards the house.
