I'm No Different. ( ChaeYu / ChaeTzu )

"OK! Is Everyone here?" Jihyo claps her hands together as the others sit down. 

"Um, yeah," Dahyun looks around and frowns, "Everyone except Nayeon and Jeongyeon-unnie."

"Yeah, Nayeon said she's helping Jennie with something while Jeongyeon said she's tutoring a younger student," Momo lazily recalls as Mina kindly shares her Fizzing Whizbees with her. 

"Them," Jihyo suddenly gets serious, "Those two. Those two are up to something."

"Eh? What do you mean?" Sana asks as she lays down with her head on Dahyun's lap.

"Those two have been sneaking off a lot," Jihyo explains, "They leave Hogsmeade together before everyone else and go Merlin know's where."

"...are you saying what I think you're saying?" Chaeyoung asks with her eyes wide and her eyebrows knit into a deep frown. 

"Yes..." Jihyo says closing her eyes and sitting down, "I think...they're dating."

"Wait, what?" Tzuyu blinks. It never occurred to her that Nayeon would want to date someone; much less one of her best friends. 

"Yup, I think they're dating...now no one say anything because it's up to them to tell us," Jihyo continues, "But I also had another reason for discussing this..."

"And what's that?" Dahyun asks, tilting her head slightly.

"Bets!" Jihyo smiles mischeviously and they all exchange fascinated looks before leaning in. "Now I wouldn't usually suggest anything but if they do turn out to be the first people in our little friend group to get a girlfriend or boyfriend...we have to place bets."

"What will we be using to bet?" Momo asks, giving her attention to the younger girl. 

"Well, we can bet for example food," Jihyo says, "If you bet that Jeongyeon was the one who confessed you have to buy those who bet Nayeon confessed first snacks and vice versa."

"Ah ok..." Tzuyu frowns before returning to a neutral expression, "I bet Nayeon-unnie confessed."

"Damn, alright then...hm, I actually see Nayeon-unnie doing that too," Sana chuckles, "I bet Nayeon." 

And so, the group of seven secretly placed various bets on their two friends. 

They would spend the following weeks trying to investigate or interrogate their friends on what they're doing just to win their bets. The people around them were used to those in their little group of nine's shenanigans so everyone just overlooked strange behavior.  For example, Sana and Momo dragged Mina out of the library to get her to help them sneak to the shrieking shack some other way because Tzuyu and Chaeyoung reported that someone has been going there at night. Funnily enough, the two Maknaes then got interrogated on as to why they went to the shrieking shack without the others as well and they just shrugged them off, telling the others to 'get on track.' The two Maknaes weren't doing anything crazy, they just wanted to listen to music and eat muggle snacks while gazing at the stars. What they didn't tell the others was that they went down to the lake to do that instead after discovering the Shrieking Shack being occupied. 

"They were in there but we could hardly see anything through Jihyo's magic blinds," Momo reports one morning, before Nayeon and Jeongyeon came down. 

"Hm...interesting..."Chaeyoung says as she eats a belgian waffle with whip cream and strawberries on it. 

"Hey guys," Jeongyeon says happily and sits down across from Chaeyoung. "Damn, squirt, that's a lot of whip cream."

"Hello~," Sana says with a mischievous smirk and Jeongyeon frowns.
