Kishimoto often conveys his story not just through the action itself, but also through characters' reaction to the events occurring around them. It should be evident from Chocho's and Naruto's pleased reactions that they are satisfied and well-pleased by Sasuke's response to Sarada questions. The characters' reactions are intended to show fans that Sasuke's words expressed deep, intimate feelings for his wife.
Even Naruto, who had doubted Sarada's biological parentage as much as Sarada had, realized from Sasuke's response to Sarada what Sasuke is really saying: Sasuke and Sakura share a deep relationship based on shared feelings and love. Naruto smiles, pleased with Sasuke's response. In the manga version, even when Sakura directly tells Sarada that is truly her "bona fide offspring" and that Sakura is Sarada's biological mother, Naruto still doesn't look pleased (he actually look troubled still) until Sasuke himself answers Sarada's question about how he knows his feelings are connected to Sakura's.

Only after Sasuke's romantic, "Because you exist, Sarada" does Naruto finally look pleased, satisfied that the love between his two teammates is indeed very real. Fans should be well aware by now that apart from Sakura, no one understands Sasuke better than Naruto does. Naruto can read the nuances and subtleties of Sasuke's moods better than anyone. If Naruto is pleased by Sasuke's response and admittance of his feelings for Sakura, it means that Sasuke's admission is valid and reflects true love for his wife.

Even Chocho, who had previously written Sasuke off as a jerk, approved of Sasuke's expression of his feelings for his wife, even going so far as to comment that Sarada was lucky to have a dad like Sasuke.

Sarada tears up, but this time with tears of joy, because she now understands that Sasuke really does love Sakura.
