What goes around.....(Mikey x Reader)

As the sun from the early morning began to fill the bedroom with light you slowly began trying to open your eyes. The massive headache you awoke to were remnants from the alcohol the night prior. You moaned and groaned as you fought to get your eyes fully open. To your surprise this wasn't your bedroom. You quickly shot up to sit in the bed looking to the right side of you. There, cuddled up in the black comforter, was Mikey. You had never stayed the night, so seeing the room in broad daylight was quiet weird. The two of you must of passed out after venturing upstairs to hook up. 'Crap! I'm sure Mimi is worrying!'  You snatched your phone off of the bedside table and checked your messages.  Sure enough there was a message from not only Mimi but Emma as well. Both were asking where you were? You shot both of them a message apologizing and that you would be home within an hour or so. After sending the message you you easily climbed out of the bed, being sure to not wake Mikey. 

You gathered your clothes up out of the floor and began dressing yourself so you could leave. You were done and dressed within a few minutes , ready to head out the door but you couldn't help but notice how peaceful Mikey looked. This was the first time seeing him asleep. You took a few minutes to admire him. His expression was so relaxed as he slept, his long lashes that you were secretly jealous of and his short blond hair that was in a pool on his pillow. The way the sunlight illuminated across his face. You wanted nothing more to crawl back in his king sized bed and cuddle up next to him but you needed to go. You broke your stare from him and hurried out the bedroom door , closing it softly behind you. 

Since Mikey wasn't awake to call for his driver you called your own as you headed down the stairs. You husseld across the shiny marble floors downstairs, admiring how much more beautiful the penthouse was in the early morning hours. Made you sad a bit to know that you and Mikey were contained to only the night hours. Now was no time to start being sad and sulking though, you had to get home. You finally made it to the small entry hallway where the elevators were located. You pressed the button to signal it, you stood there waiting as you listened to it climb the floors. As the elevator finally made its way to you the doors began to slide open.

"Y/N?" You heard a voice ask. You looked up from your phone to see Draken, Baji, Mitsuya, angry, and smiley standing in the elevator. You stood there, frozen. What were you going to say? "When did you get here?" Baji asked, a little oblivious to the fact that you had been there. "I've been here.....I just really need to go now though." You said waiting for them all to exit. "What's going on with you and Mikey?" Angry asked, their curiosity kicking in. "Nothing." You huffed. "Nothing? Then why are you leaving his penthouse early in the morning?" Smiley joined in with his brother. "Knock it off." Mitsuya said, picking up that you were clearly uncomfortable. "Oh come on. Shes been here all night with the boss so something has got to be going on." Angry continued. 

"ENOUGH! Drop it." Draken yelled, his deep voice echoing though the hallway and establishing his dominance over the small group. "Go ahead and get in there and get him." Draken ordered, rushing the others away. He turned to you after they had exited the hallway, "Everything good?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm just trying to get home." You sighed, glad Draken had stepped up for you. "You sure? You got a way home?" He continued to bombard you with questions. "Yes, and I already called someone." You answered. "Good, well if you need anything dont be afraid to reach out." He said as he moved to the side to let you on the elevator. "Thank you so much Draken." You said as the doors began to close, starting the descent to the bottom floor.

The ride home seemed like it took forever. You were so happy  to be back in your home, your safe space. "I'M HOME!!!" You yelled as you entered the door, tossing your keys down in their usual spot. "ABOUT TIME!!" You heard Mimi yell from the living room, followed by foot steps coming your way. "Were have you been?!" She said as she rounded the corner to you as you reached the kitchen. "Mikey's." You answered. "MIKEY'S?! and you were there all night?" You heard Emmas voice say. Mimi held up here phone, she had Emma on speaker. "Yep." You nodded as you poured you a cup of coffee from the pot. "So what happened? That never happens?" She asked, pulling up a seat at the kitchen island. 

You followed her lead and did the same. "I don't know Mimi....I don't know if it was the drinks or what but he was so sweet. Slow dancing in the kitchen with me, he got all sappy about why I was still hanging out with him and then called me perfect. To be honest I'm a little confused about all this." You said as you took a sip of your coffee. "Confused? Explain yourself." Mimi said. You took a deep breath, trying to gather your thought. "I mean, he used to not be like this. It was usually get to the business and bounce. But here lately we have been talking more, he has opened up about some personal things, told me about stuff that has happened in the group, and now he's been so affectionate and passionate and I don't know what to think. He pulls the mess he did last night but then turns around and acts like he doesn't even know me in the daylight. It.....kinda hurts." You spewed, staring at the coffee circling your cup. This was really confusing to you. So many emotions were running through your head and you didn't know what to do. 

"Hun, this isn't going to get easier. You have feelings for him and now you are starting to realize that how he is treating you isn't right." Mimi said. "Yeah, and don't take this as me sticking up for and justifying how my brother is acting but Mikey has been some things. From our parents not being there while we were growing up, almost losing Draken and then almost losing Baji....Mikey keeps a wall up. He is keeping you at arms distance, which isnt nice but its all he knows. It's safe to him. Not to mention he always links bad things back to himself, like he is the problem."  Emma's voice explained through the phone. "Yeah, I understand. But doesn't make this hurt any less." You said, not sure how to feel about this. "Hurt people, hurt people......You need to decide what you need to do. If this is upsetting you then maybe you need to back away for a bit. Give yourself time to think." Mimi recommended, Emma agreeing. It had crossed your mind, backing off. The idea of that causing Mikey to loose all interest in you, scared you. But if he genuinely liked you, he would'nt just loose interest. Unless sex was really all he was after. "I think you're right. I'm going to back away for a bit. See what happens and how I feel afterwards. See how Mikey reacts to it." You said, agreeing with your friends. This is what needed to be done. "We are here to support you." Mimi said as she gave you a hug. "We got your back." Emma added. Thank god for them, you were going to need them.
