"Do you two really need to be right outside the door?" You asked as you tried on some clothes in the fitting room. "You know the answer to that." Kenji replied from the other side of the door. You rolled your eyes as you continued trying on the items you had picked out. You appreciated Kenji and Kaede and all that they did to keep you safe but you missed the freedom of not constantly having someone hovering over you. Equivalent to helicopter parents. You opened the door to exit the room, having to push past the two men. You made your way up to the checkout counter, the two men hot on your heels. "Could you please back off a bit?" You asked as you placed your items on the counter. "Why?" Kenji asked. "Because I don't want you up my ass every five seconds. I love you guys and appreciate everything you do but you're suffocating me." you answered. "We are just being cautious, making sure you are safe." Kaede said. "And again I appreciate that more than you know but, come on. This is getting a little excessive." you said as you pointed at Kenji who was inches from you. Kaede sighed.
"How about we stay in the store just not right next to you?" Kaede suggested. "Yeah, not on top of you but still in the same area within close distance to act if needed." Kenji added, agreeing with Kaede. "I could handle that actually." You answered, agreeing to the suggestion. Kaede nodded before turning to Kenji motioning for them to move further back in to the store but within a few feet from you. Granted they did you give you a bit of space but you wanted freedom. You turned your attention back to the cashier as they rang up a few items, removing security tags as she went. Then an idea hit. "Can I ask you for a favor?" you asked the girl. she looked at you with a puzzled look. "Umm sure?" She said. "If I was to slip you some extra cash could you put one of those security tags in the bottom of my bag?" You asked. "Do what?" She looked shook. "Look I know that is not normal to hear but I want to play a prank on my friends that are with me. and there is an extra $100 in it for you." You said, hoping she would say yes as you removed your wallet and sat the $100 along with the total for the purchase on the counter in front of the lady. She stared at it for a few seconds before grabbing the money and placing the money for the purchase in the drawer and the $100 in her pocket. You grinned at her as she slid a small brown security tag in to the bottom of your bag. She handed the bag over the counter to you.
"Thank you so much, please come back and see us." She said. "No thank you." You smiled as you grabbed the bags from her. You walked over to Kenji with the purchase in your hand, holding it out to him. They always carried your bags and today was no different. "Where are we heading next?" Kaede asked as him and Kenji began following to the exit. "I just want to hit a few more stores here in Shibuya before we go home." You said as you made your way through the security alarms, bracing for the mini shit show you were going to cause. As Kenji began his exit the alarms began howling as it picked up on that security tag nestled at the bottom of your bag in his hand. Two security men quickly made their way over to Kenjii and Kaede who had stopped in shock. This was your chance. While the officers were talking to the two men, beginning their search through the bag you quickly bolted. You took off in a sprint through the crowded sidewalk of Shibuya. You glanced behind you and to your luck there was no sign of Kenji or Kaede. You smiled wildly as you entered a shop, trying to gather your thoughts on what to do next before they noticed you were gone and manage to catch your breath.
The small clothing store wasnt the best for hiding but it would work. You made your way around one of the displays to better hide. "Y/N?" You heard from behind you. You felt goosebumps immediately form on your skin as the voice uttered your name. You slowly turned your head to see none other than Mikey standing a few feet from you. "Crap." You muttered under your breath. "What are you doing here?" He asked, a puzzled look on his face. "Oh you know, just doing a little shopping." You said, putting a smile on. "Without your parole officers?" Draken said as he appeared from around the corner. "No, they are with me just not here." You said as you glanced over your shoulder at the door for any sign of the two. "Not here? What's going on Y/N? They never let you more than a few feet from them." Draken pointed out, instantly knowing something was up. "Well, I kind of got them caught up at another store while I slipped out." You replied. "Caught up?" Mike asked. They were digging. "Like I had the cashier put an active secuirty tag in the bag." You chuckled as you told them. Both boys began to chuckle with you. "You really wanted to leave them didn't you?" Draken said as his laugh died off. "Yeah, I'm just over being smothered. I know they have good intentions but I want to get away." You explained, taking another quick glance at the door. "Well you know they are eventually going to find you in here." draken said. "Yeah I know. But I can enjoy it for me." You sighed, realizing your fun was going to come to an end.
"Maybe not right now." Mikey said suddenly. You and Draken both looked at him, confused. "You want to get away?" Mikey asked as he turned to you. "Yes." You werent sure where this was going but you were listening. "I know where this is going. Get going." Draken said as he nudged Mikey in the arm. You looked at Draken, still confused. You were about to ask a question but stopped as Mikey quickly reached for your hand, grabbing it in his. Your heart skipped for a second. Before you knew it he was pulling you out the side door of the shop. You tried to keep with his pace as he weaved you through the crowd till you approached two bikes in a side parking lot. You recognized Mikey's as you got closer. Still the same bike his brother gave him so many years ago. He let go of your hand as he began positioning himself on the bike."You coming?" He asked with a smile on his face. You were so close to a taste of freedom that you hadn't had in a while. Why would you bail out now. You returned his smile as you climbed on the bike behind him.
You quickly wrapped your arms around him. "You remembered." He chuckled, the last time he had to remind you to hold on before taking off. You just smiled and shook your head at him. Within seconds he pealed out of the spot and was full speed heading down the road. Creating a distance your craved for between you and your daily routine of being watched. You held on tight as he hugged every corner of the road with his bike, the sound of the engine feeling your ears causing your heart to beat up into your throat. You were sure you were holding your breath at some point. "Where you want to go?" He yelled over the engine. "Anywhere." You responded. Anywhere away was good enough for you. Mikey just nodded in response to your answer. You weren't sure where he was going but you were along for the ride and enjoying every last bit of it. Every moment bringing back memories from so long ago. But those memories were quickly pushed to the side once you saw what was quickly approaching. There in the distance was Mikey's home.
